Abstract:
The invention relates to a heating device (10) for a vehicle, comprising: - a flow path (14, 16, 20, 22, 24) for a fluid heat transport means and - an electrical heating arrangement (25) for heating the heat transport means on a heating section of the flow path. According to the invention, the heating section has at least two channels (20) running in a serpentine pattern, through which the heat transport means can flow in parallel. The invention further relates to a method for operating a heating device (10).
Abstract:
A method for working a first component (101) and a second component (102) comprises the following steps: providing the first component (101), which comprises a thermally sprayed electrically conductive layer (103), providing the second component (102), which comprises a longitudinally extended strip (104) of copper, which at least in a first region (112) has a thickness transversely in relation to the longitudinal direction (106) of over 0.1 millimetre, arranging the strip (104) and the layer (103) on one another such that the first region (112) of the strip (104) and the layer (103) have a common contact region (107) with one another, directing a laser beam (108) onto the contact region (107) and forming a welded connection (109), which connects the strip (104) and the layer (103) to one another.
Abstract:
A vehicle heater (10) has a main body (12) which supports a non-intrinsically safe heat conductor layer (14), and a temperature monitoring device (16, 18, 20, 44) assigned to the heat conductor layer (14). The temperature monitoring device (16, 18, 20, 44) is designed to distinguish and report at least the three following states: normal operation, reversible malfunction, and irreversible malfunction. Moreover, a method for monitoring a vehicle heater (10) is disclosed in which the following states are distinguished and reported: normal operation, reversible malfunction, and irreversible malfunction.
