    SOLUTION: This curtain tieback for tying a curtain to one of both side parts of a window when being opened/closed, is provided with a curtain tieback body formed by attaching curtain tying members with curtain tying magnets on the both sides of a curtain tieback belt, and is characterized in attaching the curtain tieback body to a curtain and freely detachably attaching it to a desired position of the curtain. The both ends of this curtain tieback are detachably attached from the both sides of the curtain via the curtain tying magnets of the curtain tying members, and the curtain tieback body tucks up the curtain from the lower face of the curtain and is formed detachable via the curtain tying magnets of the curtain tying members.

    Abstract: Various curtain systems and components are disclosed. In one form of the invention there is provided a curtain system (10) having a curtain tape (14). The curtain tape (14) comprises a body (40) having a first portion (42) for being fixed to a curtain. A plurality of carrier mounts (48) are provided for mounting a plurality of carriers (52). The carrier mounts (48) are spaced along the length of the body (40) at intervals less than 2 cm to allow for the curtain to be hung from the carrier mounts (48) in any one of a plurality different configurations where each configuration is associated with a different curtain width.

    Abstract: A curtain system is described which includes a curtain having a plurality of rod engaging members attached thereto, a plurality of rods each having a first end, and a curtain release mechanism attached to the rod at the first end thereof. The rod engaging members each includes a stem having a first end and a second end and a yoke extending from the first end of the stem. The curtain release mechanisms have a slot formed therein and extending therethrough and also include a user operable mechanism for retention of the yoke upon insertion into the slot. The user operable mechanism is further operable for substantially simultaneous release of the yokes and therefore the curtain from the curtain release mechanisms.

    Abstract: A retrofit blackout lining (10) for drapery is disclosed. The lining (10) includes one or more panels (10a, 10b) having a plurality of loops (21) extending from an upper edge. The spacing of the loops (21) generally corresponds to the spacing of the drapery hooks or pins (5) from which a preexisting drapery (30) is suspended from a traverse rod (15).
