Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ski boot with a smaller tortional distortion of a toe section than that of a conventional boot and a reduced permanent deformation. SOLUTION: This ski boot is provided with a shell (2) which is made of plastic material and is equipped with a bottom wall (9), two side walls (6), a toe section (5), a flexible section (11) that extends near the toe section (5) at the middle of the foot section intersecting the shell (2), and two rigidity vertical members (17, 18) that extend along each side wall from the back part of the shell (15) and connected near each of the horizontal ends (11a, 11b) of the bottom wall and the flexible section. It is also provided with a rigidity frame (16) that is formed inside the shell and is equipped with the vertical members (17, 18) in a unified manner and a horizontal structure body (20) that is connected to each of the front ends (17a, 18a) of the vertical members, extended near the flexible section, and deforms resiliently along with the curve of the shell. Abstract:
A safety ski binding comprises a sole grip pivoted on an end of a sole-supporting plate elastically connected to the ski by a flexible cable tensioned by a spring winder incorporated in the plate. A device for automatically opening the sole grip, after removal of the sole grip from the ski by withdrawal of the cable but before the cable is fully withdrawn, comprises a projection on the winder which actuates a lever to pull or push a transmission member which either disengages a bolt retaining the heel grip, or directly tips the grip open against the action of a biasing spring.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
A device for use on ski pole handles (1), in particular for alpine poles, in order to contribute to keeping the handle (1) against the hand of the user, comprising an element (2) having an attachment portion (2') which is fastened to the handle (1) and a holding portion (2'') protruding outwardly from the handle (1). The element (2) comprises, as a continuation of the holding portion (2') mainly opposite of the attachment portion (2''), two in the use position of the pole downwardly protruding bail portions (2''') having flexural elasticity, and being shaped such that they together completely or partly can surround an area near the wrist of the user. Thereby a wrist strap can be omitted. If the pole during use from some reason gets struck, for instance in that the disc is hooked onto some kind of object, the bail portions (2''') may easily be torn loose from the hand or the glove, whereby the user may avoid damages resulting from that the hand or glove is not released from the handle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a ski binding, in particular, a touring, telemark or cross-country binding, comprising a front fixing, for the front end of the sole; a rear fixing, to engage with the front part of the boot sole, or with the heel of a skiboot and a tensioning device which connects both front and rear fixings. Said tensioning device can lock the front and rear fixings to the skiboot and, in particular, in the locked state, allows the heel of the skiboot to be lifted relative to the ski. At least one release mechanism is provided, for releasing the lock of the tensioning device between ski binding and the skiboot, due to the effect of a torque value above a predetermined limiting value, about a vertical axis on the boot or ski, or by manual activation of an essentially positive-fit locking element.
