Abstract:
Provided is a pair of plates 110, 120 for a rotary processing machine 100 having the following configuration and a method of mounting the same by which the pair of plates 110, 120 can be mounted on the respective outer circumferential surfaces of a pair of cylinders 101, 102 with high precision. When a female recessed plate 110 and a male raised plate 120 are overlapped with each other so as to make processing portions 111, 121 of the female plate 110 correspond to those of the male plate 120, fitting protrusions 123a, 123b are fitted into respective fitting portions 113a, 113b. Accordingly, the movement of the fitting protrusions 123a, 123b is restricted both in the width direction of the plates 110, 120 and in the mount direction of the plates 110, 120. Concurrently, guiding protrusions 124a, 124b are respectively inserted between corresponding pairs of guide protrusions 114aa, 114ab, 114ba, 114bb in the guiding portions 114a, 114b. Accordingly, the guiding protrusions 124a, 124b are guided so that relative movement of the guiding protrusions 124a, 124b is allowed only in the mount direction.
Abstract:
The foil embossing device has an embossing unit (34) comprising at least two rollers (40, 41) at least one of which (40) is an embossing roller and is driven by a drive (5), at least the embossing roller having teeth (B) that project from the base cylinder for producing logos on the foil in a logo area (27) with teeth (39) that are different from the regularly arranged teeth (A) in order to produce a variable specific embossing pressure on the foil, the rollers having both axially and radially acting centering elements (4, 8) for centering the embossing roller (40) with respect to the other roller (41). It is thus possible to emboss logos in a substantially greater variety of designs and with higher accuracy than in the prior art and thus to achieve a sophisticated esthetic impression.
Abstract:
A device and a method of embossing packaging material by passing the material between a drive roll (A) and two or more driven rolls (B, C) pressed against the drive roll. All the rolls have full or truncated pyramidal teeth on them and the apex angles of the pyramids of each of the driven rolls are different from the apex angles of the pyramids of the drive roll.
