Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce elastic deformation accompanied by wheel steering in a hose part which is accommodated in a narrow space between a strut and a vehicle body to enhance space efficiency, and to dispense with a protector for protecting the hose. SOLUTION: A brake hose end part 9c between a terminal connector 9a (a brake actuator side fixing point) of a brake hose 9 to be connected to a caliper and a vehicle body side final fixing point 9b which is the closest to the terminal connector 9a is fixed not to a strut 3 as conventional, but fixed to a center position of a stabilizer connecting rod 5 via a clamp 10 and a grommet 11. Only approximately a half of the elastic deformation in the past is generated to the wheel steering of front wheels 1, thus eliminating the need to increase the space between the strut 3 and the vehicle body for accommodating a vehicle body side hose part 9d, which is difficult to secure, and dispensing with the protector for protecting the brake hose. Abstract:
A spring system includes a bladder, a pump in fluid communication with the bladder, and an air line coupled with the pump and configured to fluidly communicate with a thermal conditioning unit. The pump is configured to draw the air through the air line from the thermal conditioning unit and transmit the air to the bladder.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement for the rear end of a motor vehicle with a fuel filler line and a compound crank which exhibits two trailing arms and a cross member connecting the trailing arms with each other, with the trailing arms being pivotably supportable in the direction of their longitudinal axis on their one end area including a connection element on the body shell of the vehicle, and having on their other end area a holder for a wheel bearing unit. Provision is made that the filler line crosses at least one of the trailing arms in the area between a connection site for the cross member and the connection element. The invention further relates to a compound crank for the rear end of a motor vehicle, and a rear end of a vehicle.
Abstract:
A vehicle frame assembly includes first and second generally parallel chassis rails. At least one of the first and second chassis rails has a first portion defining an internal cavity and at least a second portion defining an enclosed passageway extending along the first portion and within the internal cavity. The at least one of the first and second chassis rails is configured to be coupled to a first component and to provide a routing within the passageway between the first component and a second component.
Abstract:
A rod-engaging support device (1) is formed from plastics material. The body (2) of the device (1) supports a fitting e.g. rod connector, suspension hook or munsen ring, which fitting may be integral or removably securable thereto. The device (1) further incorporates rod engagement means (4, 5) wherein the rod is received by the engagement means (4, 5) in a first position and following relative rotation of the device (1) with respect to the rod, the rod is gripped by the engagement means (4, 5) in a second position.
Abstract:
A gas spring for a steerable vehicle wheel includes bellows that are supported at one end on a roll-off surface on a wheel carrier, a suspension element, or a part connected therewith, and are fastened at another end on a spring can. The spring can has an inlet opening to which a pressure hose or a pipe is connected. The pressure hose or pipe is arranged in a loop at least in an area above the bottom of the spring can and, during rotating movements of the spring can, is elastically deformed at least in that area.
Abstract:
An apparatus for coupling two hydraulic transmission lines to one another is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a first coupling member and a second coupling member. The first coupling member comprises a body having first and second passages. The first passage extends from the connection to the first line to the second passage. A plug is movably positioned in the first passage for selectively opening and closing the first passage between the first line and the second passage. A first and second passage similarly extends through the second coupling member, and a plug is movably positioned in the first passage for selectively opening and closing the first passage between the second line and the second passage. The first and second coupling members are selectively joinable via a sleeve extending between the second passages thereof.
Abstract:
An isolator for use in a suspension system includes a front shaft and a rear shaft. A front spring arm and a front transitional arm are mounted to the front shaft. A rear spring arm and a rear transitional arm are mounted to the rear shaft. A resilient member is mounted between the front and rear transitional arms. As forces are applied to the front and rear link arms, the front and rear shafts rotate causing the front and rear transitional arms to rotate. As the front and rear transitional arms rotate, the resilient member is compressed and expanded accordingly.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a suspension for a hydraulic-motor (2) driven vehicle wheel with an axle beam (9) rotatably mounted in a sliding joint (1) having an inner body (1a) and an outer body (1b), wherein the outer body (1b) is connected to the vehicle (10) via suspension arms (4), and hydraulic fluid is supplied to the hydraulic motor via the suspension arms (4) and the sliding joint (1). To improve this suspension for stable control of the wheel with reliable supply of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic motor, it is proposed that two separate top suspension arms are linked by way of top bearings, which are spaced apart, and that the hydraulic fluid is fed in through one of the top suspension arms (4) and carried off through the other.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement for displacing a tiltable cab unit (11) between a lowered and a raised position relative to a vehicle frame (16), the arrangement comprising a fluid actuator mounted between the vehicle frame (16) and the cab unit (11 ), which fluid actuator (17) is arranged to displace the cab unit (11) between the lowered and raised positions, and an elongated conduit bundle (20) comprising at least one media conduit (23, 24, 25) having a first section (23; 31; 41; 51; 71) which is connectable to the vehicle frame (16), a second section (24; 32; 42; 52; 62) which is connectable to the cab unit (11), and a third section (25; 33; 43; 53; 63) which is fitted between the above-mentioned first and second sections (23; 31; 41; 51; 71, 24; 32; 42; 52; 62). At least one conduit making up a third section (25; 33; 43; 53; 63) of the media conduit (23, 24, 25) is arranged in or on the fluid actuator (17; 30; 40; 50; 60).
