    Abstract: A sea marker for emergency flights of ship-based planes onto a ship is disclosed which comprises a float, a tube containing a pyrotechnical charge and also a percussion igniter. The tube consists of a material which does not burn away, and is provided with a light charge consisting of about 30 to 60% by weight of sodium nitrate, about 3 to 18% by weight of polyolefin resin and about 30 to 60% by weight of magnesium.
