Abstract:
The invention relates to lubricating grease compositions which consist of (a) an oil based on hydrocarbons; (b) a perfluorinated polyalkyl ether oil of the general formula A' - (O-CF2)v-(O-C2F4)w-(O-C3F6)x-(O-C4F8)y-(O-CF2CF(CF3))z-O-A'', in which A' is equivalent to -CF3, -C2F5, -C3F7, -CF2T, T being H or Cl, and v, w, x, y and z are integers >/= 0; (c) a diurea as the thickening agent; (d) conventional additives; and (e) organic and inorganic solid lubricating grease compositions. The invention also relates to a process for preparing said lubricating grease compositions.
Abstract:
A biodegradable penetrating lubricant, comprised of: (A) at least one triglyceride oil of formula (I), wherein R , R , and R are aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups containing from about 7 to about 23 carbon atoms; (B) an organic solvent selected from the group comprising: (1) ethyl lactate; (2) methyl ester; and (3) combinations of 1 and 2; (C) an antioxidant; and, (D) a corrosion inhibitor. Optionally, the lubricant may further an additive selected from the group comprising: (E) a viscosity modifier; (F) an anti-wear inhibitor; and, (G) an emulsifier.
Abstract:
A composition comprising : water; a surfactant or mixture of surfactants present in a concentration sufficient to form a spherulitic or dispersed lamellar phase in the absence of Electrolyte; and a substantially insoluble functional material, suspended in the composition; said composition being substantially free from Electrolyte.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant, high speed, and high-loaded rolling bearing, which is used for accessory units or electrically-powered components, having non abnormal flaking phenomena, sufficiently long life, and superior durability under high temperature, high speed, and high loading operating conditions. SOLUTION: Grease composition, in which diurea compound showed in the following chemical expression 5 is combined as a thickener and a passive agent such as sodium nitrite is also added at 0.1 to 5 wt.% in base oil mixed alkyl diphenyl ether oil and aromatic ether oil with 20 to 150 mm 2 /s of dynamic viscosity at 40°C in a range from 50:50 to 80:20 (weight ratio) and is filled in the heat-resistant, high speed, and high-loaded rolling bearing. (where, R 2 shows an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15C, R 1 and R 3 show an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 12C, or an cycloalkane family hydrocarbon group having 6 to 20C, a rate of aromatic hydrocarbon of R 1 and R 3 occupied in a full amount are 1/2 or more in a mole ratio, and R 1 and R 3 may be the same or different.
