Abstract:
A floating line or rope (1) consisting of two or more strands (3) of fibres of vegetable material or synthetic material such as hemp or nylon, and a buoyancy body/buoyancy bodies (2) arranged as a part of the rope. The floating line is manufactured by spinning according to the "laid rope" method whereby the buoyancy body/bodies (2) is/are arranged as the core of one or more strands (3), the fibres in the strand being spun around the buoyancy body/bodies.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sink line for a fishing net. In accordance with the invention a sink line is provided comprising a plurality of weights attached to a longitudinal supporting structure, preferably in a spaced apart relationship, the weights comprising a core member of a first material entirely enclosed in a coating of a second material, the weights having an outer surface in securing engagement with the supporting structure.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sinker line or a float line in which sedimentation power or buoyancy of braided rope itself is partially changed and a fishing net using those. SOLUTION: The sinker line is a continuous braided rope. In the sinker line, sinking members 2 in which sinking bodies 22 are intermittently aligned while keeping regular intervals around a continuous linear body 21 are provided and built-in while adequately changing numbers of these sinking members. In the float line, buoyant bodies are provided instead of these sinking bodies. The fishing net is obtained by using the sinker line as a sinking rope and using the float line as a floating rope. Abstract:
A sinking rope structure (100) that comprises an outer layer (1) and a core (10) consisting of a tubular sheath (2) closed transversally by a plurality of welded portions (3) in order to form filled chambers (4) arranged in series and separated by the welded portions (3). More in detail, the filled chambers (4) are filled with a filling material, generically a granular material or a liquid with specific weight higher than one to obtain a sinking rope. In particular, the method for making the core (10) is based on a vertical form-fill-seal process to obtain filled pouches in series.
Abstract:
A sinking rope structure (100) that comprises a coating layer (1) and a core (10) consisting of a tubular sheath (2) choked transversally by a plurality of choke portions (3) in order to form filled chambers (4) arranged in series and separated by the choke portions (3). More in detail, the filled chambers (4) are filled with a filling material, generically a loose material selected from the group comprised of : loose solid or liquid material (5) with specific weight higher than one to obtain a sinking rope. In particular, the method for making the core (10) of the sinking rope same ensures a production cost remarkably less than known sinking ropes present on the market and provides adjusting the size of the filled chambers (4) displacing simply the position of the transversal welding (3) in order to obtain a core with various size and then more or less flexible ropes responsive to the use to which they are destined.
