Abstract: A positioning system based on street view information for a vehicle is provided. The positioning system includes a database, an image capturing module and a processing circuit. The database includes information of a plurality of identifiable objects with high discrimination and location information of the plurality of identifiable objects. The image capturing module is disposed on the vehicle and configured to capturing a current image. The processing circuit is configured to determine whether at least one current identifiable object in the current image matches at least one of the plurality of identifiable objects with high discrimination. In response to determining that the at least one currently identifiable object matches at least one first identifiable object of the plurality of identifiable objects, the processing circuit is configured to obtain location information of the at least one first identifiable object for acting as location information of the at least one current identifiable object in the current image and accordingly determine an actual position of the vehicle.

Abstract: System and methods for visually tracking movement associated with a mobile device in order to determine optimal locations for handing over the device between different base stations arranged in a sequence. Initially, a current location of the mobile device is determined via a radio access network associated with the device. Then, a moving object is visually detected in an immediate proximity to the location determined, using a visual sensor array associated with the radio access network. The moving object detected is assumed to be associated with the mobile device due to said proximity, and is hence visually tracked along its path of progression, until arriving at a location that was previously determined to be optimal for performing a handover between two adjacent base stations. A handover is then executed, while continuing with said visual tracking until another handover is required.

Abstract: A system for estimating a pose of one or more persons in a scene includes a camera configured to capture one or more images of the scene; and a data processor configured to execute computer executable instructions for: (i) receiving the one or more images of the scene from the camera; (ii) extracting features from the one or more images of the scene for providing inputs to a keypoint subnet and a person detection subnet; (iii) generating one or more keypoints using the keypoint subnet; (iv) generating one or more person instances using the person detection subnet; (v) assigning the one or more keypoints to the one or more person instances by learning pose structures from image data; and (vi) determining one or more poses of the one or more persons in the scene using the assignment of the one or more keypoints to the one or more person instances.

Abstract: A landmark detection system can more accurately detect landmarks in images using a detection scheme that penalizes for dispersion parameters, such as variance or scale. The landmark detection system can be trained using both labeled and unlabeled training data in a semi-supervised approach. The landmark detection system can further implement tracking of an object across multiple images using landmark data.

Abstract: Techniques are for detecting presence of a problematic cellular entity in a target. In an example, using an analysis model, a fluorescence-based image is analyzed. The analysis model is trained using a number of reference fluorescence-based images for detecting the presence of problematic cellular entities in targets. Based on the analysis, a problematic cellular entity present in the target is detected. To perform the detection, the analysis model is trained to differentiate between the fluorescence in the fluorescence-based image emerging from the problematic cellular entity and the fluorescence in the fluorescence-based image emerging from regions other than the problematic cellular entity.

Abstract: Systems and methods for performing a medical imaging analysis task are provided. One or more input medical images are received.
