Abstract: A data driver and a driving method of the same are provided to minimize a mount area of a digital-analog converter circuit irrespective of an increase of bits of digital data signals. A data driver includes a plurality of digital-analog converters to convert digital data signals to analog data signals. Each of the digital-analog converters includes a first, second, and third sampling/hold circuits(110,120,130) connected through a common line to each other. Each of the first, second, and third sampling/hold circuits includes at least one or more unit sampling/hold circuit. The unit sampling/hold circuit includes a capacitor, a transistor, and a switch. In the unit sampling/hold circuit, a first terminal of the transistor is connected to the common line. The capacitor is formed on a conductive line disconnected from the first terminal of the transistor. A node is formed between the capacitor and the first terminal of the transistor. The node is connected to a gate terminal of the transistor. The switch is formed between the first terminal of the transistor and the capacitor in order to switch selectively a flow of current between the first terminal of the transistor and the capacitor.
