Abstract:
A cellular transmission device includes an image capture device, a display, a selection mechanism, and a processor. The device also includes a memory in which at least one still image captured by the image capture device is stored; and a cellular transceiver coupled to an antenna; wherein the processor is configured to cause the display of at least one still image stored in the memory on the display; cause the display of a transmission selection menu on the display in response to operation of the selection mechanism, thereby enabling selection of a plurality of receiver units from the selection menu to receive the at least one displayed still image; and cause the transmission of the at least one displayed still image by the cellular transceiver for receipt by each selected receiver unit.
Abstract:
Identification information pieces used for establishment of a connection between an image processing apparatus and a portable terminal are generated and also linked to the data process conditions registered in advance. The generated identification information pieces are displayed on a display in a style allowing users to understand their linkages to the process conditions. Among those displayed thereon, a specific identification information piece is entered on the portable terminal and transmitted to the image processing apparatus, according to user instruction. Receiving the identification information piece, if the image processing apparatus judges that the identification information piece is appropriate, a connection between the image processing apparatus and the portable terminal is established by using the identification information piece, and then data processing is performed on the data to be processed and other data, under the process condition linked to the identification information piece used for establishment of the connection.
Abstract:
A hand-held scanner (1) is provided for reading characters from a string of characters recorded on a substrate (2). The scanner (1) may be held like a pen and moved, in contact with the substrate (2), along the string of characters. Movement of the scanner is sensed by a sensor (21). An optical system views a small area (32) of the substrate (2) and an optical detector (26) detects the relative intensity of light reflected from each of several points in the area of view (32). To facilitate tracking, a portion of the string of characters adjacent to the area of view is clearly visible to the user. The scanner includes memory for storing codes representing individual characters. The scanner may include a computer (41), connected by a cable (42), or may be self-contained and battery operated.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the data communication method enabling wireless sharing of files or data between electronic devices that can store information and/or generate information by means of touch surface (capacitive or multi-touch), display units (LCD, led, etc.), photo sensor and frame having negative electrical conductivity.

An optical system (23) views a small area of the substrate and an optical detector (84) detects the relative intensity of light reflected from each of several points in the area of view. To facilitate tracking, a portion of the string of characters adjacent to the area of view is clearly visible to the user. Abstract:
An electronic photo album is described (Fig. 3A). The electronic photo album provides a way to share electronic photographs with the same ease that regular photographs are shared. The electronic photo album includes a display (200) for reviewing the digital images and an interface (100) to receive images from a digital camera, a flash card, a floppy disc, and the like. The electronic photo album stores digital images internally in a mass storage device configured as a disc drive, flash ram, and the like. On command, the electronic photo album displays the stored images on the display (200) for people to look at and share. The photo album also provides image output capability for displaying the images on televisions, computer monitors, printers, etc.
