Abstract:
The device for measuring the pivoting angle of a clamping apparatus comprises, firstly, a body (2-2a) wholly or partially made of a transparent material, rigidly fixed to said clamping apparatus, provided with a spherical housing (2b) which is coaxial with the tool's pivot axis, and containing a freely rotatable spherical ball in a stabilizing liquid; and secondly, one or more indicia arranged on either of the ball or body (2a) elements for interaction with at least one graduation on the other element. Said body (2-2a) is made of a non-magnetic material while said ball is provided with a solid magnet (5) which gives it horizontal stability in relation to the magnetic north and vertical stability and equilibrium.
