본 발명은 백금족 금속(백금(Pt), 루테늄(Ru), 오스뮴(Os), 로듐(Rh), 이리듐(Ir), 팔라듐(Pd))을 함유한 산업폐기물로부터 백금족을 침출하여, 침출액 내 백금족 금속이온을 흡착제에 흡착한 후 흡착제에 붙어 있는 백금족 금속이온을 탈착제로 탈착하여 고농도 백금족 금속이온 혼합용액으로 회수할 수 있으며, 또한, 백금족 금속이온이 붙어 있는 흡착제를 회화(灰化, ashing)하여 백금족 금속이온을 금속형태(Metallic form)로 회수할 수도 있다. 또한, 회화공정 후 백금족 금속으로 혼합되어 있는 재(Ash)로부터 용해과정을 통해 용해되는 백금은 고농도의 백금이온으로 회수되고 용해되지 않는 루테늄은 금속형태로 분리할 수 있다.

Systems and processes for the removal of fluorochemicals from water are provided. Systems according to the invention include a vessel containing the ion exchange resin, the ion exchange resin including an insoluble matrix having functional groups bonded to the matrix, the functional groups being amines of the formula: N(R1R2R3) Where N is nitrogen; and R1, R2 and R3 are hydrocarbon groups and can be the same or different, normal, branched and/or partially or fully substituted (e.g., fluorinated) and having a carbon chain length of C1 or greater, the hydrocarbon chain optionally including polar groups (e.g., O, N, S). An inlet for directing a flow of water into the vessel is provided to facilitate contact between the water and the ion exchange resin; and an outlet is provided to direct a flow of water out of the vessel after the water is treated. A process for the removal of fluorochemicals from water is also provided by exposing water to the foregoing ion exchange resin, maintaining the water in contact with the resin for a period of time, and thereafter separating the water from the resin.

PURPOSE: Provided is a dosage form which is capable of extending the release of active ingredients characteristically by using unloaded ion exchange resins, and which does not require the manufacture of a resinate. CONSTITUTION: A dosage form characteristically comprises (a) active ingredients which are capable of being ionized; and (b) unloaded ion exchange resins. Therefore it is capable of controlling the release of the active ingredients.

Method implementing resins for treating organic compounds in industrial wastewaters, said method comprising the steps of: during treatment cycles, pumping an industrial wastewater into a reactor containing an ion-exchange resin, letting said organic compounds being captured onto said resin and obtaining a treated wastewater at an outlet of said reactor; during regeneration cycles for restoring removal capacity of said resin, stopping said pumping of said industrial wastewater into said reactor, pumping a regeneration liquid into said reactor, letting said regeneration liquid desorb the organic compounds captured onto the resin, and obtaining an eluate containing said desorbed organic matter; recycling said eluate for using it as said regeneration liquid, characterized in that said resin is a strong base anionic ion exchange resin, and said regeneration liquid is an hypersaline solution.

Metal organic resins, composite materials composed of the metal organic resins, and anion exchange columns packed with the composite materials are provided. Also provided are methods of using the composite materials to remove metal anions from a sample, methods of using the metal organic resins as fluorescence sensors for detecting metal anions in a sample, and methods of making the metal organic resins and the composite materials. The metal organic resins are amine-functionalized metal organic frameworks and their associated counter anions. The composite materials are composed of metal organic resin particles coated with organic polymers, such as alginic acid polymers.
