    Abstract: PURPOSE: A PC(Prestressed concrete) steel wire using a deformed rod is provided to prevent a slip by forming a 3-way indent on the surface of a rod composing a PC steel wire and to improve adhesive power with concrete according to an increase in surface area. CONSTITUTION: In a PC steel wire using a deformed rod, a deformed rod(1) comprises a trio indent line(IL) formed at an angle of 120 degrees on the outside longitudinally, and a unit indent of each indent line(IL), as an oval, is formed to be inclined toward the direction of the length(P). If the diameter(D) of the deformed rod(1) is 5.0¯5.5 millimeters, the depth(t) of the unit indent is 0.02¯0.05 millimeters, the width(n) is approx. 5¯6 millimeters and an interval(p) between unit indents is 2¯3 millimeters.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the movement of a core wire and the loosening of a steel cord. SOLUTION: The steel cord is constituted as follows. A side wire sw is preformed into a helical shape by running the side wire sw along a plurality of pins arranged with difference of elevation in a preformer. The resultant side wire is twisted by prescribed turns in the same direction as the twisting direction of a strand to be twisted at a twisting machine, and twisted back by the prescribed turns to impart a residual turning stress in the same direction as the twisting direction to the side wire sw in a turning stress-regulating device. The steel cord tw is formed by twisting the core wire cw with the side wire sw by the twisting machine.
