    Abstract: An aseptic junction device for a tube includes a tubular insert having a first end segment and a second end segment, an annular body mounted on the second end segment of the insert, and an annular sealing element. A maneuvering sleeve is rotatably mounted between a connection position and a disconnection position, and is coupled to the insert so that a rotation of the sleeve from the connection position to the disconnection position leads an axial movement of the body from a projecting position to a flush position. A coupling is arranged to allow decoupling of the junction device and another junction device, only when the sleeve is in the disconnection position.

    Abstract: Aseptic connectors are described. An aseptic connector includes a first connection unit and a second connection unit provided with at least one first and second openings orientated to substantially coincide when said first and second connection units are connected to each other. The first and second openings are sealed by at least one film, so that the contact between the film and each connection unit is aseptic. The at least one film is adapted to be mated with a corresponding film on the other connection unit; and the mated films are adapted to be pulled out together two and two after mating such that corresponding first and second openings are mated aseptically.

    Abstract: A clamp comprises a first arcuate portion, a second arcuate portion connected to the first arcuate portion via a hinge, and a ratchet mechanism for locking the first and second arcuate portions in a closed position.     Abstract: An apparatus or method for forming a sterile connection. The apparatus includes at least two sterile tubes each disposed within a flange. Each flange has an external face that completely covers the mouth of the tube. Each flange is designed to be displaced when force is applied to the tube to move the tubes toward one another such that the external face of each flange is displaced radially or axially outwards away from the mouth of the tube. When the external faces are displaced, the external face of each flange opens and tubes connect and form a sterile connection therebetween.

    Abstract: A pipe joint includes a joint main body, a cap nut, a sleeve, an insertion groove between a pipe body mounting section and an external thread section of the joint main body, and an elastic member disposed in the insertion groove. When the external thread section and an internal thread section of the cap nut are screwed, the end face of the distal end side of the sleeve comes into contact with one end face of the elastic member to compress the elastic member, and the elastic member presses, with a self-repulsion force, the end face of the distal end side of the sleeve in the axial direction. Then, an inner circumferential surface of a proximal end side of the sleeve compresses the pipe body in a radial direction of the pipe body through a reaction force received from a fitting surface of the cap nut.
