For instance, pre-impact swing conditions of a golfer are observed using a monitoring system. Additionally it is desirable to determine the properties of the golf ball and the golf club. Moreover, the effect of the shaft properties and the slippage between the golf club and the golf ball may also be considered. In this manner, a more accurate determination of a golfer's predicted trajectory and ball launch conditions may be determined without requiring the golfer to actually strike a golf ball.
