    Abstract: The present invention relates to a construction method of an eco-bridge, and an upper structure thereof, and includes the following steps: a pipe preparation step for preparing a plastic pipe with closed ends; a reinforcing bar placement step for installing a reinforcing bar assembly around the plastic pipe; a girder production step for producing a girder by pouring concrete into a mold and burying the reinforcing bar assembly and the plastic pipe in the concrete in a way that a concrete block out part is formed to expose more than a partial upper part of the plastic pipe; a girder mounting step for mounting multiple girders, which were produced in the girder production step, on a substructure in a way that the girders are laterally pressed to each other; and a soil filling step for cutting open the plastic pipe which is exposed at the block out part, and filling the plastic pipe with soils for vegetation. Therefore, the present invention provides an upper structure of an eco-bridge and a construction method thereof, wherein waterproofing and root-resisting treatments are perfectly implemented without separately installing waterproofing and root-resisting equipment, and soils and concrete are separated by the plastic pipe, thereby having advantages in minimally sheathing a reinforcing bar.
