    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease warpage of an optical recording medium by laminating a synthetic resin film via adhesive agents on a signal recording film on the side opposite to a light transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION:The signal recording film 22 is laminated on the light transpar ent substrate 21 and the synthetic resin film 24 is laminated via the adhesive agents 23, 25 on the signal recording film 22 on the side opposite to the light transparent substrate 21. Synthetic resin films which have excellent environmen tal resistance and mechanical characteristics in spite of a small thickness are selectable at a wide degree of freedom as the synthetic resin film 24. The film 24 is entirely pinhole-free and even if the film 24 is laminated via the adhesive agents 23, 25, the film has less shrinkage stress at the curing time of the adhe sive agents 23, 25. The warpage of the optical recording medium is thereby decreased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable both spiral and concentric optical disks to perform recording actions with approximately same accuracy and same time, by using a rotary encoder, a laser light deflector and a deflecting drive means which changes the deflecting angle of the deflector in proportion to the rotational angle of the disk. CONSTITUTION:A signal writing optical system 10 is continuously fed over the radius of a recording master disk 20 at a prescribed speed. At the same time, the signal writing laser light to be applied to the disk 20 is deflected by an acoustooptical deflector 14 so that a laser beam spot traces the concentric recording tracks 21 of the disk 20 with a track pitch W. Thus it is possible to record the preformat data received from a signal generator 1 on the tracks 21 with high accuracy.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and to improve detecting accuracy, by supplying the first and second differential detected outputs of positions from a line optical detector to a subtracting circuit, and detecting the displaced quantity of a body to be measured based on the output of the subtracting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The difference between the outputs from output terminals t1 and t2 of a semiconductor position detector as a line optical detector 5 is obtained. Thus the displaced quantity of a body to be measured 1 is detected. When the added output I1+I2 of an adder circuit 7 tends to increase, a driving current for a laser-light emitting diode 3 is decreased and the amount of the light emission is suppressed. As a result the amount of incident light to the line optical detector 5 is decreased, and the increase in the added output I1+I2 is suppressed. When the added output I1+I2 tends to decrease, the decrease is likewise suppressed. Thus the sum of the first and second differential detected outputs of positions from the line optical detector 5 is made constant. Therefore, errors in the output of the detected displaced quantity comprising the subtracted output of a subtracting circuit 8 is largely decreased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable positioning of plate bodies to be easily carried out with high accuracy by comparing the output timings of the wave forms of a transmitted- light detection output and a reflected-light detection output which are obtained by sweeping a laser beam spot on each pattern of the plate body. CONSTITUTION:In the vertical portion of each T-shaped mark pattern 30, for instance, four sets of stripes 12R, 12B and 12G constituting the vertical portion of a pattern 31 are formed, and for example seven Nesaless lines 24 constituting the vertical portion of a pattern 32 are formed corresponding to the stripes. On each of the T-shaped patterns 30a and 30b, a red laser beam spot is formed which is swept at the same phase and an equal amplitude. Seven pulses corresponding to the seven Nesaless lines 24 appear in detection outputs NA and NB delivered from a reflected-light detector, while four pulses corresponding to the four R stripes appear in detection outputs FA and FB delivered from a transmitted-light detector. The positional relationship between the patterns can be known by comparing the timings of the pulse lines.

The depth of pits is changed for the recording layer with the amount of exposure, allowing to record multi-valued digital signals of ternary or more. Thus, the amount of recorded information is increased in comparison with the recording of binary digital signals.

Beam spots BPs, BPa, and BPb are formed on a main detector 21S and secondary detectors 21a and 21b. The outputs are sent to level comparators 25b, 45a, and 45b through preamplifiers 22, 44a, and 44b. The output of the preamplifier 22 is sent to a sample and hold circuit 23. The outputs of the comparators 45a and 45b are inputted to the circuit 23 through an AND circuit 46 and a level converter 47 as sampling pulses. The peak level of the main detector 21s is smapled and held and divided into 1/2 by a divider 24. The result is sent to the comparator 25. Thus the position is accurately detected regardless of the moving speed and the width of the lap surface.
