    Abstract: The invention relates to the discovery that pre-treating mineral oxide particles with a silylated polymeric coupling agent prior to suspending the particles in a binder polymer increases the crack resistance and adhesion of particles to a inkjet printing substrate such as paper sheets. Such pretreatment also reduces the amount of binder needed to achieve acceptable performance, leading to improvements in production speed and image quality.

    Abstract: A radiation-curable composition for use as an optical fiber material or coating comprising the combination of the following pre-mixture ingredients: (A) about 5 wt.% to about 95 wt.& of one or more radiation-curable oligomers, (B) about 5 wt.% to about 95 wt.% of one or more monomer diluents, (C) optionally, one or more photoinitiators, (D) about 0.1 wt.% to about 30 wt.% of one or more adhesion promoters represented by: R -L-Si(OR )3 wherein R is a group comprising an ethylenically unsaturated radiation-curable group; and said three R groups independently of each other are C1-C10 groups; and L is a linking group which comprises one or more alkoxy or branched propoxy groups.
