    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel cord which is a zero-degree belt cord following to the expansion in the radial direction of a tire in a vulcanizing treatment, reducing the elongation after molding of the tire, suppressing the expansion of the tire in the diametral direction during running and having low rigidity in the rotative direction of the tire and high rigidity in the direction intersecting the rotative direction of the tire at right angles.
