Abstract:
An electric motor having a rotor, a stator, a case at least partially enclosing the rotor and the stator, and a lead connector. The lead connector includes a body having a base, a terminal end, and an intermediate portion extending between the base and the terminal end. The lead connector also includes a first sealing interface extending substantially circumferentially about the intermediate portion and a second sealing interface abutting the case.
Abstract:
A connector comprising a terminal that is connected to an electric wire, and a resin housing that houses and holds the terminal, wherein one groove or a plurality of grooves, each of which includes a directional component perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the electric wire and has protrusions on the surface thereof, extends across a region of a portion of the surface of the terminal, and the terminal is embedded and secured within the resin that constitutes the housing in this portion including the region across which the groove extends. By employing this type of structure, the number of components can be reduced, and excellent bonding and airtightness is achieved between the terminal and the housing.
Abstract:
A motor includes a commutator, a bracket including a conductive brush, first and second wall parts, and first and second deformable parts. The conductive brush is in contact with the commutator. The first wall part includes a first surface extending along a first surface of the conductive brush. The second wall part includes a second surface extending along a second surface of the conductive brush located on a side opposite the first surface of the conductive brush. The first deformable part is in contact with both the first surface of the conductive brush and the first surface of the first wall part, and is deformable in response to movement of the conductive brush. The second deformable part is in contact with both the second surface of the conductive brush and the second surface of the second wall part, and is deformable in response to movement of the conductive brush.
Abstract:
A terminal connection structure has a housing, a base housed in the housing, and a terminal unit having a pair of tab terminals disposed on the base, a pair of terminal portions disposed in the tab terminals in parallel, each of which is exposed from the housing and configured to be connected to an external terminal, and a terminal plate sandwiched between the pair of tab terminals.

Abstract:
A housing for an electrical machine includes a cover with an electrical plug connection. The plug connection includes at least one electrically conductive contact or a plurality of electrically conductive contacts configured to electrically connect the housing to a plug. The contact is routed through an aperture in the cover and forms an electrical plug contact via an end section that projects out of the cover. The plug connection has a securing element that extends in a flat manner. A lateral dimension of the aperture in the cover is formed such that the contact is routed through the aperture via the end section and engages behind a projection in an interlocking manner by virtue of moving transverse to the longitudinal extent in the aperture. The securing element has at least one aperture that is configured to fix the contact in the aperture transverse to a longitudinal extent of the contact.
Abstract:
An electrical motor connection, in particular of an electrical cooling fan motor for a motor vehicle, has a connected cable harness whose cable ends are connected to a motor-end connecting terminal. A connecting housing has two housing parts, which are joined together in the assembled state to form a cavity, and which hold connection-end cable ends of the cable harness. One of the housing parts has at least one filling opening, which opens into the cavity, for filling with a curable encapsulation compound, and with the cured encapsulation compound surrounding the cable ends in the area of the connecting terminal, and being joined to the housing parts.
Abstract:
Described is an electric machine (1) in a vehicle, in particular a starter or a starting device for starting an internal combustion engine, comprising a first electric terminal (2) and at least one second electric terminal (3). In order to make it easier and less expensive to design and assemble the electric machine in a vehicle, the at least two electric terminals (2, 3) are arranged such that an electric connection to the at least two terminals (2, 3) can he established by means of a connecting device that forms a unit and has at least two electric power cables.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrical connection device that connects a rotating electrical machine and an inverter within a housing. The electrical connection device is configured with a first bus bar connected to a terminal of the rotating electrical machine such that the first bus bar that is insulated from the housing, and a second bus bar that is connected to a terminal of the inverter device such that the second bus bar is also insulated from the housing. An insulating connection member is configured to connect the first bus bar and the second bus bar. The first bus bar and second bus bar are housed within the housing such that they face each other to form a gap between them. The connection member is configured to pass through a wall of the housing so as to electrically connect the first and second bus bars.
