PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink which utilizes a mother board attached to an existing device capable of mounting the protective cover of a CPU contact pin. SOLUTION: The heat sink is provided with a bottom 21, a plurality of fin sections 22 disposed at the bottom 21 and a pinching section 23 which is extended from a part of a plurality of the fin sections and has a recess 231 for pinching the protective cover of the CPU contact pin disposed at the top of a plurality of the fin sections. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced polling method for preventing deadlock in a wireless communications system. SOLUTION: A polling method in a wireless communications system according to the present invention includes prohibiting polling within a first predetermined period, triggering a poll function while polling is prohibited, after the first predetermined period has expired, determining that there are no protocol data units (PDUs) scheduled for transmission or re-transmission and that there is at least a transmitted PDU that is not acknowledged yet, and selecting a PDU to schedule for re-transmission to fulfill the poll function. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing an abnormal state in an AM (acknowledge mode) transmission and an UM (unacknowledged mode) transmission. SOLUTION: When receiving an AMD PDU (acknowledge mode data-packet data unit) or a UMD PDU (unacknowledged mode data-packet data unit) having a length indicator area having an invalid or reserved value, a receiving end nullifies the PDU and regards itself not to receive the PDU. When a report is required, the receiving end reports a reception state. According to this method, an unnecessary RLC (radio link control) reset step can be avoided, and the possibility of disabling the synchronization of a HFN (hyper frame number) can be reduced during transmission of the AM or UM data. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interleaving method associated with a local suspend function and reset procedure in a wireless communication system. SOLUTION: This wireless communication system is provided with a first wireless station which is put into a wireless communicating state via at least one channel with a second wireless station. The first wireless station initiates local suspend function for a channel according to a suspend point decided by a first sequence number (SN). Reset procedure is performed for the channel prior to a resume command to terminate the local suspend function. The first SN of the suspend point is set so as to be a default value in response to the rest processing. Thus, while the channel is put in the local suspend state, the communication via the channel is interrupted. Then, the resume command for the channel terminates the local suspend function.
