Abstract: A handheld wireless internet terminal and an operating method thereof are provided to secure exact terminal information such as the location, speed and time even in a poor environment by improving GPS satellite signal reception. A handheld wireless internet terminal is composed of a GPS receiver(210), a wireless transceiver(220) and a re-detector(230). The GPS receiver detects a specific satellite signal among GPS satellite signals within a time range set by a timer. The wireless transceiver requests the information of GPS satellites obtained by a wireless internet base station when not receiving the specific satellite signal for the time range. The re-detector re-detects the specific satellite signal by using the information of GPS satellites received from the wireless internet base station.

Abstract: A device for transmitting signals and a method for transmitting signals are provided to maintain uniform signal transmission by fitting delay values among data bus configuration signal lines. Output data are transmitted to a memory through data transmission lines. According to a delay signal, plural delay unit(130) delays test data for preset time. Abstract: A relaying method of a repeater is provided to enable the repeater to receive/transmit traffic as maintaining the compatibility with a map. A repeater grasps one or more connection identifiers(S102), and then receives a downlink frame(S103). Abstract: A method for shortening the hand-over delay by using an L2 trigger and a relay station adapting the same are provided to start the L3 hand-over before the start of the L2 hand-over, thereby reducing the delay time of the hand-over. The signal quality of links connected with a mobile station is measured(S130). Thereafter, an interval estimation is performed through the constant number of samples constructed by the measured signal quality(S140). As the result of the interval estimation, when the signal quality is below the constant critical value, the layer 2 trigger for starting the layer 3 hand-over is generated(S150). In the interval estimation process, the number of samples, the critical value and the confidence interval are set. Thereafter, the interval estimation is performed by means of the confidence interval about the measurement values of the signal quality of the links as much as the number of samples. Thereafter, a process for discriminating whether the lower limit value of the confidence interval by the interval estimation is below the initial value is performed.

Abstract: A method and a system for refusing the network entry in a mobile multi-hop relay system are provided to inhibit the request of the continuous network entry of a relay station when refusing the network entry at a base station. A relay station transmits the network entry request of a mobile station to a base station(S250). Thereafter, the relay station receives the network entry refusal response from the base station(S270). Abstract: A method for selecting an optimum path in an MMR communication system is provided to enable RSs within a cell to measure a correlation value and a CQI value of a CQICH for a UE and report the values to an MMR-BS when the UE registered in the MMR-BS enters the RS region, and enable the MMR-BS to set a proper RS path, thereby providing the UE with a data service of high transmission efficiency. If a UE(User Equipment) is registered within a cell, an MMR-BS(Multi-hop Mobile Relay-Base Station) allocates a CQICH(Channel Quality Indicator Channel) to the UE and loads a CQICH_Allocation_IE on a map before broadcasting the IE(S550). The UE1 periodically transmits a measure value CQI of a downlink preamble to the allocated CQICH(S555). The MMR-BS measures and stores the maximum correlation value and CQI value for CQICH #0 of the UE1, and compares the stored values with correlation values and CQI values for CQICH #0 reported from RSs(Relay Systems)(S570). The MMR-BS determines an RS, having the maximum value among the correlation values measured and reported by the RSs, as a data transmitting/receiving path of the UE1(S585).
