    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured with multi-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) operation. The UE groups capabilities of handling two overlapping physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions into a plurality of groups, determining a UE capability of handling two overlapping PDSCH transmissions based on the plurality of groups and transmits the UE capability to a next generation nodeB (gNB) of a 5G new radio (NR) wireless network. The UE also determines if a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission collides with a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) of a long term evolution (LTE) transmission and determines if the CRS originated from a same multi-transmission/reception point (TRP) as the DMRS.

    Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for using low layer protocols for inter-cell mobility management in a 5G wireless communications system. A serving 5G node B (gNB) can configure reports that a user equipment (UE) transmits to the serving gNB to make handover decisions. The serving gNB can configure a group of Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states (e.g., a group of beams) that correspond a physical cell, and the report includes layer 3 measurements corresponding to a neighboring or serving cell's TCI state. The report can be conveyed using lower layer protocols. The report can include layer 1 measurements conveyed using a layer 1 protocol and the serving gNB can perform filtering to generate corresponding layer 3 measurement results. Based on the reports, the serving gNB can perform a handover and synchronization using lower layer protocols, from one TCI state to another.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, a terminal device, a network device, and computer program products for SCell management in wireless communication. A terminal device receives from a network device configuration information for configuring a triggering mode. The triggering mode is for triggering activation of a secondary cell of the terminal device and a transmission of a temporary reference signal in the secondary cell. Based on the configured triggering mode, the terminal device receives first triggering information on the activation of the secondary cell and second triggering information on the transmission of the temporary reference signal for performing the activation of the secondary cell. In this way, it is possible to reduce the latency of activation/de-activation procedure for SCG and secondary cells.

The operations further comprise in accordance with a determination that the received DCI fails to indicate the TCI and based on the determined DCI transmission scheme, selecting at least one TCI for the PDSCH reception from candidate TCIs configured for one or more Control Resource Sets (CORESETs) associated with the DCI.

    Abstract: Described are processing time approaches to simultaneous multi-cell PUSCH/PDSCH scheduling with a single DCI (downlink control information) in a wireless communication system. In various approaches, simultaneously scheduling a plurality of physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) through a single DCI transmitted via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) occurs, wherein each of the plurality of PDSCHs is associated with a respective cell in a plurality of cells. The approaches further include transmitting data to or receiving data to a user equipment (UE) based on the scheduling information, wherein the plurality of PDSCHs occurs no earlier than a time offset following the PDCCH. In other aspects, a hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) is received via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), the HARQ-ACK having been sent by a user equipment (UE) in response to one of the plurality of PDSCHs, wherein the HARQ-ACK is sent no earlier than a time offset following a reference time in one of the plurality of PDSCHs. In other aspects, transmitting data to or receiving data to a user equipment (UE) is based on the scheduling information, wherein the plurality of PDSCHs occurs no earlier than a time offset following the PDCCH, the time offset being configured to permit analog beam switching by a user equipment (UE).
