Abstract: The present document relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method for flexibly supporting resource allocation in a wireless LAN system, and a method and an apparatus for signal transmission using the same. To this end, a first STA configures a radio frame comprising: a signaling (SIG) field including control information; and a data field in which data can be transmitted via a discontinuous channel or a channel having a bandwidth size that is supported by a legacy system. When the first STA transmits the configured radio frame to a second STA, the SIG field preferably comprises: information about a full bandwidth in which data can be transmitted via the data field; and null indicator information indicating a channel region of the full bandwidth that is not used in data transmission, or used channel indicator information indicating a channel region of the full bandwidth that is used in data transmission.

The second tone unit includes a plurality of tones being greater than the total of 26 tones. The 4 pilot tones for the second tone unit are included in the plurality of tones. The locations of a plurality of pilot tones for the plurality of resource units are fixed when two first tone units are included in the plurality of resource units in place of the second tone unit.

Abstract: A method for updating a network allocation vector (NAV) by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a frame; and when the duration of the frame is greater than the value of an NAV of the STA, updating the NAV of the STA, wherein the duration is indicated by each of a signal (SIG) field of a physical layer and a header of an MAC layer in the frame, the duration indicated by the physical layer has a larger granularity of a time unit than that of the duration indicated by the MAC layer, and the STA updates the NAV through the duration having the larger granularity, indicated by the physical layer, when the duration indicated by the MAC layer cannot be obtained.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for generating an STF signal usable in a wireless LAN system is provided. The STF signal is included in a field used to improve AGC estimation of a MIMO transmission. A portion of the STF signal is used to transmit an uplink, and can be used for uplink MU PPDUs transmitted from a plurality of STAs. The STF signal that is disclosed is used for a 40 MHz band or an 80 MHz band, is desirably usable for the 40 MHz band, and can be generated based on a sequence in which a predetermined M sequence is repeated. The predetermined M sequence can be a binary sequence of 15 bits.

Abstract: The present specification presents a configuration technique of a field for control information in a wireless communication system. Specifically, presented is a configuration technique of a signal field including user-specific information in a wireless LAN system. A plurality of MCS techniques are applied to each field of a signal field, according to the present embodiment, and each field can be ordered according to the MCS techniques. The signal field according to the present embodiment can be used for a single user or multiple users, wherein the length of each field can be determined for blind decoding of the single user and the multiple users. The signal field according to the present embodiment can be an SIG-B field according to a wireless LAN standard.

Abstract: The present specification presents a technique for transmitting a PPDU by using a resource unit including carriers of different sizes. For example, a PPDU is transmitted by using five frequency bands, a left guard band, and a right guard band. Null subcarriers can be included in the five frequency bands according to the type of included resource unit. The null subcarriers can be the leftmost side or the rightmost side of each frequency band, and the number of included null subcarriers can be determined according to the size of the carrier included in each resource unit or the type of resource unit. A frequency band including DC carriers can include only one resource unit having a discontinuous carrier, and null subcarriers can be further included around the DC carriers.

Abstract: The present specification proposes a signal processing method for changing an operating mode for transmitting a PPDU in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a first station receives, from the second station, indication information which indicates a change in an operating mode indicating a receiving channel bandwidth and a number of spatial streams supported by a second station during a TXOP interval. When the number of spatial streams and the receiving channel bandwidth decrease, the first station configures a PPDU for the second station by using the indication information after transmitting an ACK for the indication information. When the number of spatial streams and the receiving channel bandwidth increase, the first station configures a PPDU for the second station by using the indication information during a subsequent TXOP interval of the TXOP interval.
