    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide environmentally benign fiber-reinforced composite materials in which the production cost is comparatively inexpensive having lower heat conductivities compared to the other fiber-reinforced composite materials produced with the use of existing carbon fibers, and having superior interfacial adhesion capabilities due to the fiber-reinforced composite materials containing lyocell-based carbon fiber.SOLUTION: More concretely, the fiber-reinforced composite materials have lower heat conductivities compared to the existing fiber-reinforced composite materials produced by polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber and pitch-based carbon fibers, etc. and superior in interfacial adhesion capabilities and other material properties such as strength due to the inclusion of lyocell-based carbon fiber and polymeric resins. The fiber-reinforced composite materials are more environmentally benign and can reduce the cost of the production compared to the existing fiber-reinforced composite materials produced by rayon-based carbon fibers which utilize a highly toxic carbon disulfide solvent.
