    Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition, comprising: A) aromatic polycarbonate and B) Ba) reinforcing fibers and/or Bb) spherical particles of oxides of metals or metalloids of the 3rd main group, 4th main group and/or 4th transition group. The composition further comprises: C) PMMI copolymer and D) phosphite stabilizer and/or phosphine stabilizer, wherein, furthermore, the proportion of B) is ≥35% by weight to ≤40% by weight and the proportion of C) is >0.1% by weight in each case based on the total weight of the composition.
    The invention further relates to a layered arrangement comprising a substrate layer and a reflection layer distinct from the substrate layer and at least partially covering the substrate layer, wherein the reflection layer at least partially reflects light in the wavelength range from 380 nm to 750 nm, an illumination apparatus comprising a light source and a reflector, wherein the reflector is arranged such that at least a portion of the light transmitted by the light source is reflected by the reflector, and to a process for producing a molded article.

    Abstract: A thermally conductive composition contains a resin composition and a thermally conductive filler, wherein the resin composition contains a liquid silicone resin having a viscosity ranging from 20 mPa·s to 200,000,000 mPa·s at 25° C. as measured according to JIS Z8803:2011 and a polysiloxane compound having at least one hydroxy group not directly bound to a silicon atom at an end, and having no vinyl group; the mass ratio of the liquid silicone resin to the polysiloxane compound [the liquid silicone resin/the polysiloxane compound] is 50/50 or more and less than 90/10, the content of the thermally conductive filler ranges from 300 parts by mass to 5,000 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the resin composition, and a cured product of the thermally conductive composition has a thermal conductivity of 1.0 W/mk or more as measured according to ISO22007-2.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses amethod for preparing a nanocomposite material for toe cap production. The nanocomposite material is made of graphene, carbon nanotubes, fiber composition, a silane coupling agent, acetic acid, acrylate rubber, a dispersant, polyethylene resin, nano-silicon carbide, calcium stearate, zinc stearate, talcum powder, modified boron nitride, a curing agent and other materials. The preparation method is convenient and simple and is suitable for large-scale production; the nanocomposite material has high toughness and strength and good water resistance, wear resistance and aging resistance; all materials have a good combination effect with the fiber composition, therefore the nanocomposite materil has good mechanical properties and a light weight.
