Abstract:
When selection of a device icon representing one target device among one or more target devices is sensed in a region corresponding to one room included in a floor plan, a control screen for operating, or confirming a state of, the one target device corresponding to the sensed device icon is displayed on a display as overlapped on a display screen representing the floor plan, and device icons representing the target devices installed in the one room are moved out of a display region of the control screen.
Abstract:
A display apparatus, a terminal apparatus, and controlling methods are provided. The display apparatus includes: a communicator to communicate with a terminal apparatus or a relay server in order to receive collected status information about at least one peripheral device from the terminal apparatus, a display unit to display a user interface (UI) screen; and a controller to generate a control UI for controlling the at least one peripheral device or a security UI for monitoring a peripheral space through the at least one peripheral device based on the status information about the at least one peripheral device and based on whether a communication with the terminal apparatus is possible, thereby controlling a home device t in real time according to a communication status with the terminal apparatus.
Abstract:
A motorized furniture drive assembly (10) comprises at least one motorized furniture drive (3); at least one drive control device having a receiving device for wireless radio transmission; and at least one communication device (4) for operating the furniture drive (3). The motorized furniture drive assembly (10) is provided with at least one communication adaptation device (5), which is designed to communicate with the at least one communication device (4) by means of a primary wireless transmission path and to communicate with the at least one receiving device by means of a secondary wireless transmission path. An assembly comprises the motorized furniture drive assembly (10) and a piece of furniture (1).
Abstract:
To provide a remote operation system, a user terminal, and a remote operation method that are capable of reducing the burden imposed on a person who performs remote operation upon operating a terminal. The remote operation system according to the present invention includes a user terminal 10 that includes a server function unit for operating an internal function of the terminal according to remote operation, a support terminal 20 that remotely operates the user terminal 10, and a relay server 30 that includes an access management unit for holding an access timing to start remote operation of the user terminal 10 by the support terminal 20 and executes access to the user terminal 10 at the access timing. When being accessed by the relay server 30, the user terminal 10 starts up the server function unit to notify the support terminal 20 that the server function unit has been started up. When being notified that the server function unit has been started up, the support terminal 20 starts up a remote operation application to execute remote operation of the user terminal 10.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a home network system using a mobile terminal is provided, which includes the mobile terminal connecting to a gateway of a home network through a communication network, the mobile terminal receiving a list of devices which are connected to the home network from the gateway of the home network, the mobile terminal displaying the devices connected to the home network, if one of the displayed devices is selected, requesting the status information of the selected device from the selected device status information of the selected device through the gateway, receiving the status information of the selected device from the selected device, and displaying the received status information and a user interface for controlling the selected device.
Abstract:
An Optimized Streetlight Operation (OSLO) system that utilizes a cellular network overlay to broadcast control commands issued by a centralized Streetlight Operation Center (SOC) to RF control modules mounted on each streetlight pole. The cellular network may be a CDMA network utilizing Short Message Service-Broadcast (SMS-B) messaging. When a Mobile Telephone Exchange/Mobile Switching Center (MTX/MSC) receives a SOC control command from the SOC, the MTX/MSC causes a plurality of BSs to broadcast the SOC command in the network operating area a defined number of times. Each RF control module that successfully receives the broadcast SOC control command, performs actions to control operation of the module's associated streetlight, and transmits a confirmation message to the module's serving BS indicating the SOC command was received. The modules are configured to stagger transmission of the confirmation messages over a period of time to reduce a peak load imposed on the cellular network.
