    Abstract: A problem of the present invention is to provide a curable composition which gives good curability, adhesiveness and storage stability by use of a catalyst other than organic tin catalysts. The above problem is solved by a curable composition, comprising: (A) one or more organic polymers having a reactive-silicon-containing group, and (B) a silanol condensation catalyst consisting of one or more compound(s) selected from organic tin compounds, carboxylic acids, and amine compounds, wherein at least one part of the reactive-silicon-containing group(s) of the organic polymer(s) (A) is represented by the following general formula (1): —(CR22)2—(SiR12-aXaO)m—SiX3 (1), and the silanol condensation catalyst (B) consists of amine compound(s) (B1) or consists of amine compound(s) (B1) and a carboxylic acid (B2), and when the mol number of the amine compound(s) is regarded as 1, the ratio by mol of the total amount of the carboxylic acid(s) to the amount of the amine compound(s) is 0.1 or less.

    Abstract: A moisture curable composition comprising (I) a hydrolyzable silyl group-containing vinyl polymer and (II) a combined curing catalyst system of (a) an organic phosphorus-containing compound such as an organic acid phosphate, an organic acid phosphite, or an acid titanium phosphate such as those known as titanate coupling agent and (b) an amine compound. The composition has well balanced pot life and curability and provides a cured product having an excellent appearance, and the curability can be arbitrarily controlled according to the purposes by selecting the ratio of the components (a) and (b).

    Abstract: Provided are reactive silicon group-containing polymers and a curable composition containing said polymers. The curable composition provides a cured product having a low modulus, flexibility, excellent tensile strength, tensile elongation, and tear strength. The curable composition can also exhibit excellent rapid curing properties even when a low-activity catalyst has been added. In the reactive silicon group-containing polymer, a reactive silicon group, indicated by general formula (1): (—Si(R1)3-a(X)a), is bonded to the molecular chain of the polymer and an atom adjacent to the reactive silicon group has an unsaturated bond. In general formula (1), each R1 can independently indicate a C1-20 hydrocarbon group, and the R1 hydrocarbon groups can be substituted and a hetero-containing group can be used. X can be a hydroxyl group or a hydrolyzable group, and a is 1, 2, or 3.
