The distribution network comprising a plurality of caching nodes and wherein the web content had been statically identified as an uncacheable content and originated on an origin-server and wherein the method establishes a time to live, TTL, period value to said uncacheable content based on users requests and- responds to said users requests by sending to at least to one CDN user said uncacheable content within said TTL period value. Each one of said plurality of caching nodes in said distribution network including a content caching manager and a pseudo-dynamic content TTL predictor and performing the following steps: a) contacting each one of said plurality of nodes with a centralized repository, in order to download the configuration file of a plurality of said CDN users. b) identifying, said content caching manager of each caching node, the uncacheable content as a pseudo-dynamic content; c) predicting, a pseudo-dynamic content TTL predictor of said caching node, said TTL period value in which the uncacheable content will not be modified; and d) caching, each one of said plurality of nodes, the uncacheable content during said predicted TTL period value. The system of the invention is arranged to implement the method of the invention.

The method comprising at least one wireless user terminal (UE) connected through a wireless network to a serving base station and a plurality of network cells, each one comprising at least a base station and/or radio network controllers, each network cell broadcasting a cell load indicator. Where said at least one wireless user terminal performs following actions: • collecting said broadcasted cell load indicator of each one of said plurality of network cells; • providing to said wireless network, information about the actual cell load indicators of said plurality of cells, and • performing a network cell selection based on said broadcasted cell load indicators, • wherein said cell selection is performed without any exchange of cell load indicators between said plurality of network cells.

A method and a system for the construction of model behaviors related to commuting patterns, computer programs thereof and a use for design of transport routes and/or estimation of traffic. The method comprising using a computing device for constructing a commuting matrix according to location data extracted from call records of a user, said method comprising following steps: a) providing a user's origin time range; b) providing at least a user's destination time range or second user's origin time range; c) constructing said commuting matrix, using a temporal association rules based algorithm (CMTAR), based on location data extracted from call records using said user's origin time range and said user's destination time range; d) comparing said commuting matrix with a predetermined ground truth matrix and obtaining at least one comparison result therefrom; and e) optimizing at least said origin time range and/or destination time range based on said at least one comparison result.

A method and a system for implementing a turbo-diversity scheme in wireless OFDM systems. The method comprising passing, a base station or a user terminal, information comprising data signals and encoding, a first and a second turbo encoders, said received data signals, generating two different turbo code blocks comprising a set of systematic and parity bits. Where, in order to enhance detection the two different turbo code blocks are simultaneously transmitted through a wireless OFDM system and wherein the data signals to be encoded by said second turbo encoder are interleaved prior encoding by an external bit interleaver. The system of the invention is arranged to implement the method of the invention.

The method comprises a LTE cellular base station reporting radio resources usage information about its resource assignment in a current LTE frame emitted or to be emitted thereby, regarding slot usage for at least the slots of the downlink subframes of the current LTE frame, and generally also regarding the slots of subsequent downlink subframes and of also regarding uplink subframes. The uses of the method are for interference reduction and for energy optimization.
Abstract:
A method and a system for channel state information (CSI) reporting in LTE networks. The method comprises, a user equipment (UE) transmitting to a LTE cellular base station (eNodeB) a CSI report containing more accurate information than that achievable with CQI, PMI and Rl indicators on an uplink radio channel in a periodic manner using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), said CSI reporting being activated based on a mobility estimation of said UE, said mobility estimation being performed by said eNodeB. The system is adapted to implement the method.

The method, comprising prioritise a plurality of incoming TTs received from a TT management system implemented by a user to manage and handle said TT; wherein the method comprises: a) storing and ranking in real time, by a ranking calculator algorithm, said received plurality of incoming TTs; b) evaluating by consistency checking said plurality of incoming TTs ranked; and c) sending to said TT management system said plurality of incoming TTs ranked and consistency checked for being validated by said user, wherein said ranking calculator algorithm operates according to a prioritisation criteria, for automatically prioritise and ranking said plurality of TTs. The method comprising: a) gathering data information from stored user session logs over a period of time, wherein said sessions refer to communications between said user terminal and said services provider server; and b) composing said data information into a set of frequent items, i.e. frequent itemset; characterized in that said method further comprises following steps: c) creating a specialised search structure for fast lookup of said frequent items of said step b); d) anonymously tracking user actions regarding interactions with services provided by said services provider server, and matching said user actions with said frequent items of said step b) using said specialised search structure;and e) providing a relevant items prediction and recommendation for said user as a result of said matching of said user actions with said frequent items, in said step a) said user session logs being captured anonymously. In the method of the invention, said multi-tier applications provide services to a user and have resources allocated in said IT infrastructure and the management at least comprises detecting performance degradation and providing corrective actions by means of statistical approaches or analytical models. The method of the invention comprises using a combination of said statistical approaches and said analytical models taking into account monitoring data coming from said IT infrastructure in order to allocate said resources elastically and in order to provide, when detecting an anomaly or anomalies, said corrective actions by processing said monitoring data, said processing comprising statistical operations, predictions, pattern recognitions and/or correlations. The system is arranged for implementing the method of the first aspect.
