Abstract:
The present invention provides hats with attachment assemblies allowing them to be detachably secured to an article of clothing. In one example, the attachment assembly permits the hat to be detachably secured in an exterior-side out configuration to a belt of medium width worn around the wearer's waist, without requiring the hats to be inverted or reversed, and without any need for pockets, linings, zippers or the like. The hats may also be provided with retention members for holding the hats in a simple folded configuration when carried on the person. In such a configuration small personal items such as keys, loose change, mobile telephones may be carried in the retained, folded hat.
Abstract:
A convertible hat is disclosed. The convertible hat of the present invention comprises: a band (110) coupled to the head of a user; and a brim (120) provided horizontally in a certain area on the front surface of the band (110) to block sunlight. Furthermore, the convertible hat of the present invention preferably includes a pair of shape transformation crowns (130, 130a) that each have one end coupled to the band (110) and the other end spread out over the band (110), and are positioned in either a cap position in which the crowns cover the head of the user, or a sun cap position in which the crowns extend from the side surface of the brim (120) to increase the sun blocking area of the brim (120). Accordingly, a single convertible hat can be used by transforming into the two forms of a cap and a sun cap.
Abstract:
An item of apparel includes an upper tubular member and a lower tubular member. A hinge pivotally connects the upper tubular member with the lower tubular member and enables relative rotation of the upper tubular member with respect to the lower tubular member about a pivot axis defined by the hinge.
Abstract:
A decorative headgear simulating the appearance of an American-football helmet is disclosed. It is in the form of a sheet of thin flexible material. The sheet is shaped and configured with a back panel (BP), a right panel (RP), a left panel (LP), a top panel (TP), a front panel (FP), and a facemask (FM), all of which are adapted for inter-connection to form the helmet.

A decorative headgear simulating the appearance of a racing helmet is disclosed. It is in the form of a sheet of thin flexible material. The sheet is shaped and configured with a back panel (BP), a right panel (RP), a left panel (LP), a top panel (TP), a front panel (FP), and a chin cover (CC), all of which are adapted for inter-connection to form the helmet.
Abstract:
A folding hat that eliminates the risk of damaging the cloth by an elastic ring for a long life. The folding hat has the elastic ring sewn in an outer circumferential edge of a brim, and the elastic ring is formed by coupling both ends of a flat wire rod shaped by rolling spring steel round wire. Regarding the elastic ring, both ends of the flat wire rod are preferably coupled by: inserting both ends of the flat wire rod in both sides of a tubular metal stop, respectively; and crushing the metal stop. The metal stop has a pair of facing convex parts on which the tips of both ends of the flat wire rod can respectively abut at an inner center part that may be used.
Abstract:
Methods of forming collapsible hats are provided. One method includes forming a front portion of the collapsible hat, and forming at least one band portion of the collapsible hat extending from the front portion. The method further includes forming a plurality of top portions of the collapsible hat extending from the at least one band portion. The plurality of top portions are formed to be coupled at a single point in a use configuration of the collapsible hat to form a top portion of the collapsible hat. The single point at which the plurality of top portions are configured to be coupled is proximate to a center of the top portion of the collapsible hat.
Abstract:
A high fashion, crushable, lightweight, collapsible hat using a method of construction that produces a blockable, washable, stylish, comfortable, pliable, breathable hat, that maintains its original shape or can be easily restored to its original shape. The hat employs an open-cell foam material and a plurality of woven materials in a lamination, all materials being breathable and lightweight and as well as a method of construction that is versatile and usable for countless variations is style. The lamination is blockable even when fabrics that are not traditionally blockable are used. A stitching pattern of topstitching forms a plurality of sacs that maintain the original shape of the hat after blocking by creating an air bubble matrix structure that refills after crushing. Optional trim elements are constructed from the lamination using the stitching pattern to create a wide variety of high fashion hats styles with flat or peaked crowns.
Abstract:
A collector device (1) includes an elongate handle portion (2) having a loop portion (4) attached at one end. The loop portion (4) supports a receptacle (12) which comprises an upwardly facing, in use, deposition surface (16). The handle (2) and loop portions (4) are of a self supporting sheet material and have a longitudinal fold in the sheet material (8) running along the length of the handle portion (2) and continuing across the whole loop portion (4). The device (1) may be deployed with the handle (2) and loop portions (4) both held partially folded along the longitudinal fold (8) in a V or inverted V conformation to provide increased rigidity and increased load bearing capacity, in cantilever, in comparison with a device where the handle and loop portions are held horizontally planar.
