    Abstract: The invention is a cooling pillow container insert (10) which provides a continuous cool pillow surface and absorbs a pillow user's lost metabolic heat. Preventing thermal discomfort which causes pillow flipping and tossing and turning is the primary goal of the invention. The container (10) slides between a conventional pillow (12) and pillow case (11). The container (10) is composed of a soft vinyl bag (13) which snugly surrounds a fluid saturated porous foam core (15). A resealable valve (29) allows fluid to be added or removed at will and the container's temperature to be adjusted. The container (10) promotes heat transfer from the pillow user (60) to the container (10). The heat is then dispersed uniformly throughout the container's fluid ensuring a uniformly cool pillow surface. Heat is also continuously lost to the surrounding environment. A pillow user's sleep is enhanced in warm temperatures without using an energy source. The container insert (10) can also be used with or without a pillow, as a cooling bed for an animal or a pet (71).

    Abstract: A pillow cooling system uses a blower unit spaced from the pillow to cool the sleeping surface of the pillow. The blower unit uses a fan to either push or pull air through an air tube extending between the blower unit and the pillow. A distal end of the air tube is joined to an air passage extending from a central core of the pillow through a foam shell of the pillow which surrounds the core of the pillow. The core of the pillow allows air to pass therethrough more easily than the foam shell of the pillow, facilitating the breathability of the pillow.

    Abstract: A body pillow has an elongate body formed around an axis. An outer cover of the pillow includes a stretchy circumferential band of material disposed around the axis and to be spaced from either end of the pillow. Ends of first and second inner pillows are disposed near or under the circumferential band. The user may helically twist the body of the pillow around the axis at the circumferential band. Doing so separates the inner pillows and increases their firmness. An inner side of the outer cover may be made of a stretchy fabric that conforms to the body of the user, while outer side may be composed mostly of nonstretch material to retain the pillows' shape. The twisted and nontwisted configurations of the pillow make it an effective sleeping aid for expecting mothers during different stages of their pregnancies.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a neck pillow with storage capability. In embodiments, the neck pillow can open to reveal internal compartments, suitable for storage of small personal items. In this way, the neck pillow can also serve as a carrying mechanism as well as functioning as a traditional neck pillow. In this way, one can carry the neck pillow and personal items conveniently. This makes neck pillows of disclosed embodiments convenient for a variety of activities such as relaxing at the beach, concerts, movies, sporting events, and anywhere else where sitting for prolonged periods may occur. Further, the neck pillow may have a pocket to receive a heating and/or cooling pack to be used in conjunction with an individual who has suffered a head or neck injury.
