Disclosed are selected poly(oxyalkylated) hydrazines of the formula: wherein R is selected from hydrogen, lower alkyl groups having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenyl and mixtures thereof; and the sum of w, x, y, and z is from about 4 to about 20. These compounds are shown to be effective corrosion inhibitors for hydraulic fluids.

A lubricating grease is provided which is excellent in durability at high temperatures, inhibits the reaction between fluorine and steel and has a long life and a rolling bearing in which the lubricating grease is enclosed. The lubricating grease contains perfluoropolyether oil as a base oil thereof and fluorocarbon resin powder as a thickener thereof, a diurea compound having an —NH— bond in the molecular structure thereof, an organic-acid metal salt or a bismuth-containing compound such as bismuth sulfate. The rolling bearing has an inner ring and an outer ring disposed concentrically with each other, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a retainer dividedly holding the rolling elements.

An ECOLOGICAL, BIODEGRADABLE, FLUID LUBRICANT AND ANTI-FREEZING COMPOSITION FOR HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS, contains glycol, corrosion inhibitors and antifoaming agents, and must be diluted in water, either before or after it is fed into the hydraulic system, including shock absorber, preferably in a concentration of 30% to 70% by volume of the composition and of 30% to 70% by volume of water.

A grease composition is produced by mixing a thickener comprising a fluoro resin and a second thickener component (a metallic soap, a complex metallic soap, an N-substituted terephthalamic acid metal salt, organic bentonite or a calcium sulfonate complex) into a base oil. This grease composition is excellent in heat resistance, load carrying capacity, water resistance, rust protection, lubricating life and the like. A rolling apparatus filled with the above grease composition has excellent lubricating ability and is long-lived under high-temperature conditions. Moreover, a grease composition is produced by mixing a thickener comprising a fluoro resin and carbon black as a second thickener component into a base oil. This grease composition is excellent in heat resistance, water resistance, rust protection, lubricating life, electric conductivity and the like. A rolling apparatus filled with the above grease composition has excellent electric conductivity and is long-lived under high-temperature conditions.

A biodegradable penetrating lubricant, comprised of: (A) at least one triglyceride oil of the formula: 1 wherein R1, R2, and R3 are aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups containing from about 7 to about 23 carbon atoms; (B) an organic solvent selected from the group comprising: (1) ethyl lactate, (2) methyl ester, and (3) combinations of 1 and 2; (C) an antioxidant; and, (D) a corrosion inhibitor. Optionally, the lubricant may further an additive selected from the group comprising: (E) a viscosity modifier; (F) an anti-wear inhibitor; and, (G) an emulsifier.

The disclosure relates to improved gel/grease compositions as well as grease compositions capable of imparting improved corrosion resistance. The grease includes a silica/silicate mixture that can imparts a relatively high pH and corrosion resistant properties to the grease.
