PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method 100 for manufacturing a new shade guide. SOLUTION: First, the color numerical value of a known color element 15 of the shade guide 10 is determined by brightness, hue and saturation. In the next step, the color-to-color distance 16 of the brightness numerical value and/or hue and/or saturation of the previously determined color numerical value is enlarged to determine the numerical value of a new color element. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating method of color chart for color evaluation for simply generating a color evaluation color chart required for the color evaluation from a setting range of an image established by an evaluator in a short time and to provide an information processing apparatus thereof. SOLUTION: The method divides an evaluation range established by the evaluator to a prescribed regions and stores color elements by each division region as a color gamut table. Then the method compares the color elements of each division region with data corresponding to existing color evaluation color charts and extracts a coincident or appropriate patch among the existing color evaluation color charts. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method and a program, which automatically chose a sample approximate to the feature of the real thing among feature samples being previously produced and can offer a user it so as to be compared easily. SOLUTION: An object region to be measured is specified in an image, and at least one measurement region is set in the specified object region to be measured, and at least one feature sample approximate to each feature of the measurement region is chosen from a plurality of feature samples being previously registered, and then a color image of the object to be measured, a color image of the chosen feature sample and identification information for specifying the feature sample are displayed on one screen. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a beauty analysis and/or simulation of an aesthetic feature, in a method, construction, device and system related to a facial image. SOLUTION: The method facilitates construction of a three-dimensional facial image using at least a captured image of a subject's face. The method also facilitates a simulation of use of an aesthetic feature on the three-dimensional facial image and/or processing of the three-dimensional image to enable a beauty analysis.
