Abstract: A method of monitoring activity capabilities of a subject, including determining sensor data for each of a plurality of sensors, the sensors being positioned within a living environment of the subject and the sensor data being indicative of activities performed by the subject; for each of a plurality of activity domains, determining a domain score indicative of a level of activity within the respective activity domain, the domain score being determined using sensor data from a respective combination of sensors within the respective domain; determining a reference activity level using reference domain scores during a reference time period; determining a current activity level using current domain scores during a monitoring time period; and generating an activity indicator in accordance with the current activity level and the reference activity level, the activity indicator being indicative of differences between the current activity level and the reference activity level, thereby providing feedback on the activity capabilities of the subject.

Abstract: A process and apparatus for stripping a gas from a gas-rich liquid. The apparatus includes a desorption unit (10) to desorb a gas from the gas-rich liquid to form a first product stream (13) including the gas and a vapor, and a second product stream (14) including a gas-lean liquid. The desorption unit (10) includes a gas-rich liquid inlet (25), a first product stream outlet, and a second product stream outlet. The apparatus further includes at least one of a membrane condenser (22) and/or a membrane (evaporator 17). The membrane condenser (22) includes a membrane interface (26) permeable to the vapor through which vapor transfers from the first product stream to the gas-rich liquid stream and the membrane evaporator (17) includes a membrane interface (18) permeable to the vapor through which vapor transfers to separate a vapor portion from the second product stream (14), and an outlet for a vapor reduced second product stream.

Abstract: A system for generating a three-dimensional model of an object, the system including a portable hand-held imaging device including a housing, a plurality of sensors attached to the housing and at least one electronic processing device coupled to the plurality of sensors. The electronic processing device determines from the plurality of sensors, while the imaging device is in at least two different poses relative to the object, range data indicative of a range of the object and thermal infrared data indicative of a thermal infrared image of the object, generates a three-dimensional model based at least partially upon the range data from the at least two different poses and associates model data derived from the thermal infrared data from the at least two different poses with the three dimensional model to thereby provide a three dimensional thermal infrared model of the object.
