Das Substrat, das als Gewebe, Gewirk, insbesondere Schussraschel oder auch Malimo ausgebildet sein kann, besteht aus 45 bis 65 Gew.-% natürlicher Fasern, davon mindestens 40 Gew.-% Wolle und 5 bis 25 Gew.-% Ramie. Zu 35 bis 55 Gew.-% besteht es aus synthetischen Fasern wie Polypropylen, Polyamid, Polyacryl, Aramid und insbesondere Polyester. Bei Ausbildung als Gewebe oder Gewirk kann etwa die Kette aus synthetischen Fasern und der Schuss aus Wolle - Ramie - Mischgarn bestehen oder umgekehrt oder auch in Kette wie Schuss sowohl Wolle - Ramie - Mischgarn als auch Garn aus synthetischer Faser verwendet sein.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbonized fabric, by which the carbonized fabric having excellent odor adsorbability, non-conductivity, heat resistance, mechanical strength flexibility and the like, can relatively easily and economically be produced. SOLUTION: This method for producing the carbonized fabric includes thermally carbonizing a woven fabric, a knitted fabric or a woven and knitted fabric composed of cellulosic fiber yarns as a raw material fiber fabric. The method includes restraining and holding the dried raw material fiber fabric having a water content of less than 25% from one of the longitudinal and transverse directions of the fabric, and then heating the fabric in a restrained and held state in a temperature range of 250-350°C at a temperature-rising rate of 50-200°C/hr in an oxidizing atmosphere having an oxygen fractional pressure of 50 mmHg or greater in a heating oven, continuously heating the fabric at a temperature-rising rate of 50-200°C/hr to a final heating temperature range of 400-750°C in a non-oxidizing atmosphere having an oxygen fractional pressure of less than 50 mmHg, and then heating the fabric at the final heating temperature for a prescribed time. Described herein are spun yarns, core spun yarns, and fabrics such as denim fabrics made thereof that contain recycled cotton fibers and recycled para-aramid fibers. The combination of fibers in the yarns and fabrics provide desirable properties such as increased tear strength, breaking strength, and abrasion resistance compared to yams and fabrics made of 100 wt% cotton.
Abstract:
Mattress and home furnishing items are made open flame resistant by a fire barrier fabric that includes chlorine-free rayon fiber. The fire barrier fabric at least partially encloses the core of the open flame resistant mattress or home furnishing item. When tested in accordance with the flame resistance test protocols of NFPA 267 or ASTM E 1590, the mattress has a maximum heat release rate of less than 250 kW and a total energy release of less than 40 MJ in the first five minutes of the test. The home furnishing items may be tested under test protocols such as California Technical Bulletin #604 or #117. TEQ of the products of the combustion of chlorine-free fibers, yarns and fabrics is less than or equal to 2 nanograms.

Dyed fabric compositions have now been discovered that often have a balanced combination of desirable properties. The dyed fabric comprises one or more elastic fibers wherein the elastic fibers comprise the reaction product of at least one ethylene olefin block polymer and at least one crosslinking agent. Often the fabrics are characterized by a color change of greater than or equal to about 3.0 according to AATCC evaluation after a first wash by AATCC61-2003-2A.

L'invention concerne deux matériaux géotextiles biodégradables réalisés à partir des fibres extraites de la plante de l'Alfa {de l'arabe halfa) «Stipa tenacissima L.» et du palmier nain (doum) «Chamaerops humilis L». Selon l'invention, les fibres textiles sont extraites de l'alfa par un procédé chimique, le démontage de la lignine est effectué en milieu basique à température et pression bien précises, tandis que les feuilles du doum sont défibrées mécaniquement. Les fibres ainsi extraites de l'alfa et du doum sont respectivement filées et tressées pour produire des filets de géotextiles biodégradables susceptibles d'être accrochés au sol. Ces nouveaux géotextiles constituent une véritable voie de valorisation de ces deux ressources végétales très abondantes dans le bassin méditerranéen et plus particulièrement dans le territoire Marocain.
