PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enabling a ViPr user to add a unicast telephone call to a ViPr conference. SOLUTION: A telecommunications system includes a first node having audio and video streams. The system includes a second node having only an audio stream. The system includes a mechanism for forming a call between the first node and the second node so the first node and the second node communicate their audio streams with each other. The forming mechanism is in communication with the first and second nodes. Preferably, a third node can communicate with the first and second nodes through the forming means. A device, system and method for communicating a video content item in emergency situations. A geographic area may be designated as an emergency zone when one or more emergency indicators associated with the geographic area are detected. One or more emergency mode parameters governing communication of a video content item associated with a user account may be activated when a user is determined to be located in the emergency zone.
Abstract:
A method for computer control of online social interactions based on conversation processing. A portion of a conversation with a given user is recorded, stored in memory, and processed so as to influence subsequent interactions. These may include audio or other contextualized annunciations of subsequent telephone calls. Other modes addressing conversational processing for social purposes can result in interwoven conversation guided among threads of interest, advertising and incented participation of conversational content and placement. The invention is capable of implementation in telecommunications systems such as cellular, local exchange, and VOIP, and in combination with other forms of internet-based telecommunication, including smart phones and adaptive forums chat rooms.

Methods and systems for voice and video messaging are provided here. In some embodiments a method for voice and video messaging may include establishing a telecommunication session with a calling device associated with a first user in response to an indication that a call request from the calling device directed to a called identifier associated with a second user failed, providing to the calling device an option to leave a video message and an option to leave an audio message, receiving a selection from the calling device indicating the selection of the option to leave a video message, disconnecting the established telecommunication session, and receiving a video message from the calling device. Enable the calling user to switch between leaving a voice message and leaving a video message.
Abstract:
This invention enables a smartphone user to send scheduled video messages from one smartphone to another smartphone(s). This means that a user is able to send a video message to his desired recipient via his contact list in his smartphone, select the time and date at which the recorded video message can be sent to the desired contact. Moreover, the user is able to personalise the video message by adding special effects like adding subtitles or frames. The user is also able to send multiple video messages to multiple recipients in his contact list.

The at least one communication is transferred from the second device to a third device without interrupting the at least one communication and without disconnecting the at least one communication from the first device.
