PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable organopolysiloxane composition which allows the control of the pot life and curing characteristics to be determined freely, restrains yellowing and gives a cured product suitable for LEDs and optical lenses. SOLUTION: The photocurable organopolysiloxane comprises (A) an alkenyl group-containing organopolysiloxane consisting of (A1) a branched organopolysiloxane consisting of SiO 4/2 units and R 3 SiO 1/2 units and having at least three alkenyl groups bonded thereto per molecule and (A2) a linear organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups bonded to silicon atoms per molecule; (B) a polyalkylhydrogensiloxane which consists of SiO 4/2 units and R 3 (CH 3 ) 2 SiO 1/2 units and in which at least three R 3 per molecule is a hydrogen atom; and (C) (methyl cyclopentadienyl) trimethyl platinum. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a die attach layer where strong jointing of a bonding wire to a light emitting element is allowed, with less degradation in emission brightness caused by degradation of die attach material by extended use, the light emitting element which is bonded and secured to a support substrate by the die attach layer and the bonding wire junction is provided on the light emitting element. SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a support substrate, an electrode terminal, a light emitting chip, a die attach layer which bonds and secures the light emitting chip on the support substrate, a bonding wire for connecting the electrode terminal to the light emitting chip, and a sealing layer so formed as to seal the light emitting chip.
