Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver a carton from a sortation conveyer by operating at high-speed and variable throughput without rotating, overturning, and upsetting the carton. SOLUTION: The sortation conveyor includes a delivery guide path which is configured to guide pushers 22a-22f to engage articles 20a-20d disposed on an endless conveying surface at an initial impact which does not result in an uncontrollable situation even at high speed. The delivery guide path is disposed at a plurality of delivery angles, and guides the pushers 22a-22f to engage the articles 20a-20d at a low initial contact delivery angle and first lateral speed and to accelerate the articles 20a-20d at a final delivery angle to a second lateral speed higher than the first lateral speed. Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for transferring part loads (10) from a first position X to a second position Y. Said apparatus comprises at least one gripping mechanism (20) which can be moved in a vertical direction and in at least one horizontal direction by means of a drive unit (30). The gripping mechanism (20) encompasses several gripping elements, at least two of which can be separately triggered. The disclosed apparatus also comprises control means for sequentially canceling the gripping effect of the gripping elements. The invention is characterized in that control means of the apparatus are designed to sequentially cancel the gripping effect of the gripping elements according to an established pattern. The invention further relates to a method for transferring part loads, in which the gripping effect of gripping elements is sequentially canceled according to an established pattern.

This invention relates to an apparatus for moving substantially block-shaped products from a continuous stream of such products (100) proceeding on a first conveyor, to a second conveyor in order to therewith form patterns of the said products, wherein the products are carried along in a conveying plane on the first conveyor by advancing elements (1) at a fixed distance above this conveying plane in a conveying direction (T), wherein a pattern control unit is present for composing desired combinations of m products carried along only in conveying direction (T), and n products slid sideways and rotated. Furthermore, combinations of pushers and advancing elements are utilized which enable, in a highly suitable manner, the composition of very many patterns of such products.

The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) for unloading a cargo space, such as a maritime container, which contains stackable cargo units. The apparatus comprises a frame (2) which is provided with an active conveyor track (3) having a distal (4) end and a proximal (5) end, wherein the dimensions of at least a part of the frame (2) with the conveyor track (3) are such that it can be brought into the cargo space, the frame near the distal end is provided with a movable arm (20) , wherein the movable arm is provided with a head (23) for picking up at least one stackable cargo unit (A). According to the invention the head (23) comprises an array with vertically directed suction cups, which array can be moved in the vertical direction for picking up at least one stackable cargo unit (A) at its upper side.

Dispositif convoyeur: - au moins un module (1) basique dont la structure centrale est constituée de flancs (10) a. section en C placés en vis-a-vis et dont les replis comportent des patins (31, 32) pour porter et guider les brins supérieur et inférieur du tapis, lesquels flancs (10) forment, avec ledit tapis, un caisson ferme ; - des modules (2) d'extremité, aménagés pour accueillir et porter chacun 1'extremité d'un module (1) basique, lesquels modules d'extremité comportent une poulie d' enroulement dudit tapis, motorisée ou non. Selon le cas, le dispositif convoyeur comporte un module (3) intermédiaire qui correspond sensiblement à 1' assemblage de deux modules (2) d'extremité placés dos a dos, et qui s' interpose entre les extremités de deux modules (1) basiques. A unit (1) for grouping packages (2) along a transfer path (T) includes an input station (5) receiving the packages (2) arranged in longitudinal lines parallel to the transfer path (T); an output station (6) for groups (3) defined by a given number of packages (2) from respective longitudinal lines and aligned in at least one line crosswise to the transfer path (T); a movable conveying surface (9), which is fed at predetermined time intervals with a number of packages (2) equal to that of each group (3), and feeds the packages (2) along the transfer path (T) ; and at least one movable member (35) , which is fed cyclically along an operating path (R) having at least one portion (R 1 ) parallel to the transfer path (T) , and has an aligning surface (36) , against which, at each cycle, the packages (2) in each group (3) upstream from the movable member (35) come to rest and are aligned in at least one line crosswise to the transfer path (T) ; the movable member (35) also has a push surface (40) which, at each cycle, acts on each group (3) of packages (2) downstream from the movable member (35) to push the group (3) out of the unit (1).
