A rubber waste disposal apparatus processing rubber waste such as an old tire efficiently includes a casing (1), a rubber waste deformation unit provided in the casing (1) to subject rubber waste (6) to deformation, and an ozone-containing gas supply unit supplying ozone-containing gas into the casing (1). The rubber waste deformation unit includes a pair of cylindrical rollers (2, 2) having a plurality of protrusions (2a) projecting outwards, capable of sandwiching rubber waste (6) at the gap therebetween, and a distance setting unit (3) that can set the distance (L) of the gap between the cylindrical rollers (2, 2).

Ein Verfahren zur Zerkleinerung von Elastomeren, insbesondere Reifen, durch allseitige Kompression des Materials und anschliessendem schrägem Anschneiden mit einer umlaufenden Schneidekante und gleichzeitigem Zerreiben des Anschnitts an einer Flanke der Schneide. Eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens umfasst ein walzenförmiges Schneidewerkzeug (2) mit schraubengewundenen Schneidekanten, die sich diametral von beiden Aussenrändern der Walze (2) zur Walzenmitte hin drehen, ein Vorschubmittel (3), Gegenlager (10, 11) zum Schneidewerkzeug (2) und Vorschubmittel (3) sowie, gegebenenfalls eine Halterungsvorrichtung (6).

An apparatus pulverizes material composed of wet or dry discrete objects into relatively smaller particles with shock waves created by flowing the material through a housing having alternating rotors (92, 94, 96, 98) and orifice plates (128, 130, 134, 136). The housing includes a feed chute (78) for introducing the material into the housing, a second end having an opening for removing the smaller particles, and internal sides meeting in corners, which extend longitudinally between the first and second ends. Rotors extend along a rotatable shaft in the housing, each rotor including a polygonal shaped plate and radially extending vanes.

The proposed method of shredding worn out tyre casings involves subjecting the tyre casings to explosive action which is created inside a closed ring-shaped system to produce a directional circulating stream of explosion products. The proposed device comprises a chamber (1 and 2) and a pipe duct (3 and 4) which together with the chamber forms a closed ring-shaped system. The chamber has a section in the form of a truncated conical casing (1) which houses shredding elements (7) and a unit for securing the explosive (13). The section of the conical casing (1) with the smaller diameter communicates with one end of the pipe duct (4) via a valve in the form of, for example, a grid formed by plates (7) in the region of the smaller base. The other end of the pipe duct (3) communicates with the chamber (1 and 2) on the side of the section of the conical casing (1) with the larger diameter.

The method for shredding wornout tire cases comprises exposing wornout tire cases to the effect of an explosion exerted thereon in a closed circular system so as to establish a directional circulating flow of explosion products. The device for carrying the method into effect comprises a chamber (1, 2) and a piping (3, 4) which forms, together with the chamber, a circular closed system, the chamber has a portion shaped as a cone-frustum shell (1), wherein shredding members (7) and a fixing unit of the explosive (13) are accommodated; a the smaller-diameter portion of the cone-shaped shell (1) communicates with one end of the piping (4) through a valve appearing as, e.g., a grid established by plates (7) in the area of the smaller base of the shell (1), while the other end of the piping (3) communicates with the chamber (1, 2) from the side of the larger-diameter portion of the cone-shaped shell (1).

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Grobschnetzelmaschine zum Zerkleinern von Altreifen, Um eine möglichst effiziente Zerkleinerung von Altreifen zu erreichen, ist im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung vorgesehen daß dieselbe eine rotierende Welle (6) aufweist, entlang welcher in regelmäßigen Abständen eine Mehrzahl von Kreissägeblättern (7) befestigt sind, und daß zusätzlich eine Fördereinrichtung (11, 22) vorgesehen ist, mit welcher die zu zerschneidenden Altreifen (4) genau positioniert und vorzugsweise in Längsrichtung ausgerichtet durch die Anordnung von rotierenden Kreissägeblättern (7) drückbar sind.

A cooling arrangement adapted to be used in a process of preparing a fine powder, and a method for using same are described. The cooling arrangement (100) comprises: a solid particles feed ingress means, a solid particles mixing means (140), a plurality of cooling air discharging devices (130) and a solid particles egress means. The cooling arrangement is characterized in that the averaged diameter of the solid particles fed the said solid particles ingress means is essentially less than 6 mm. Preferably, the solid particles are fed to the cooling arrangement and free fall (120) onto the bottom section thereof.
