Abstract:
A conveyance apparatus of the present invention holds and conveys a group of items, and includes conveyors and driving devices. The conveyors include first and second conveyance belts, items-group holders, and detaching/attaching devices. The first and second conveyance belts operate around a circulating path. The detaching/attaching devices support the items-group holders, which include a plurality of partition members that partitions and holds the group of items. The plurality of partition members are connected to one another. The detaching/attaching devices render the items-group holders detachable from and attachable to the first and second conveyor belts. In this manner, replacement of the plurality of partition members can be performed easily and quickly.
Abstract:
Equipment for feeding product groups to a conveyor for their packaging, wherein the groups of products (13), are divided and spaced, for transfer onto the conveyor (12). The equipment includes a transport unit (15) that is moveable in the direction of the conveyor (12) and may be lowered and lifted towards the conveyor. The transport unit (15) receives the divided and spaced product groups (13) and releases the divided and spaced product groups on belts (45) that continuously advance in the direction of a pusher tug conveyor (40, 41). The pusher tug conveyor is associated with and is a part of said conveyor (12). Motors (43, 25) for the pusher tug conveyor (40, 41), for the belts (45) and for the transport unit (15) are controllable in phase, by means of a common processor (49).

Abstract:
An apparatus for packaging flexible-pouch packaged goods into cartons, trays, or the like is disclosed. An infeed section receives the packages from a source, orients the packages, and presents them to a picking device. The picking device has at least one picker head which contains a plurality of grabbers. The grabbers clutch the pouches, translate them to the tray or box loading station, then deposit the pouches in a composite motion which enables the pouches to be laid down in a space efficient and visually pleasing shingled manner. The process is controlled by a control unit programmable for a variety of product packaging configurations. The apparatus and process are especially suited for use with stand-up type or gussetted pouches.
Abstract:
A conveyor apparatus includes first and second groups of fins which are spaced along the conveying direction to provide spaces sufficient to hold packs therein. The fins in each group are divided into first and second sets. The first and second fin groups are mounted to first and second conveyor chain pairs, respectively, and moved through pack loading and unloading stations. Stepping motors drive the first and second chain pairs independently. A controller causes a fin set after being loaded or unloaded to be forwarded to the unloading or loading station at a speed higher than the speed at which the fin sets move through the loading station.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises a cart loading machine that provides for improved operating efficiencies, and includes a cart loading station, an infeed conveyor, a pattern forming area, a carrier sheet and wiping mechanism, and a fork loading apparatus. The cart loading station includes a framework defining a cart loading position and a cart waiting position. With the carrier in its extended position having carried a fully formed pattern to the cart loading position, a wiping mechanism is extended from beneath the carrier plate to contact the bundles as they sit on the carrier so that when the carrier moves back to its retracted position, the bundles are blocked and stripped therefrom. The wiping mechanism is then retracted below the carrier to permit the loading of a subsequent pattern of bundles thereon. This wiping mechanism eliminates the need for an overhanging blocking mechanism thereby permitting more efficient loader design and easier access to the pattern forming and bundle stripping areas.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for packing flexible packages, comprises separating and aligning the packages (5) transversely from a single feeding line (11) into plural lines (12), centralizing the packages so as to overlap each other partially (13), subsequently, lifting up the packages in centralizing state through vacuum pads (1), and placing them into an open top outer cartons without dropping the packages by gravity so that they are arranged in tiers as stacked in the cartons.
Abstract:
A device for filling outers with filled bags comprises a cassette (1) for the accommodation of a number of bags or rows of bags stacked on each other, feed apparatus (10, 11) for filling the cassette with bags from the top, and discharge apparatus (4, 5) for sliding the stack laterally out of the cassette into a tilted outer. For the purpose of simplification and for making the structure less susceptible to faults, the cassette has a fixed position, and a sliding cover plate or deposit plate (8) is placed at the top side of the cassette for supporting a row of bags. Structure (9) is present for sliding the cover plate (8) to and fro between a covering position in which the top side of the cassette is covered and a free position in which the bags can fall into the cassette. At the top edge of a side wall of the cassette provision is made for a retaining element (16), and through displacement of the plate (8) to the free position the supported row of bags is retained by the retaining element (16) and falls into the cassette. Displacement structure (3) is also added to the bottom plate (2), in order to shift the plate in stages from a position in the top of the cassette to a bottom position, and in order to make it possible for the bottom plate to be pressed upwards to compress the stack of bags between the bottom plate (2) and the cover plate (8).
Abstract:
A device for transferring objects, such as filled bags, from a conveyor to a collection device, such as a box, placed below the conveyor comprises two conveyor belts (1, 2) placed adjacent to each other. In the conveying position, the top parts of said conveyor belts together form one conveying face. Each of the conveyor belts (1, 2) is disposed on a tiltable frame (4). In order to make the drive of the conveyor belts (1, 2) extremely simple and to make it possible to adjust the conveyor belts at right angles to their direction of conveyance, the drive comprises a drive pulley (3) acting upon the top part of the belts (1, 2) in the conveying position thereof.
Abstract:
For packing filled bags into boxes an apparatus is provided which includes a receiving plate for collecting bags in a row, and a pusher plate for pushing the row to a position above a box to allow the row to fall into the box. To achieve an accurate positioning of the rows of bags in a box and a high degree of filling of the box a movable cassette is positioned above a waiting box. In order to bridge over the varying distance between the cassette and the receiving plate, a bridging plate extends between the cassette and the receiving plate. Preferably the bridging plate is in the form of a slide plate which is joined to the cassette.
