Abstract:
The present invention relates to an integral system for treating the water for cooling towers and other processes such as reverse osmosis rejection, regeneration of the anionic units of demineralization systems, aircraft blue water and wastewater, in which it is desired to reduce and/or eliminate contaminants such as silica, total, of calcium and magnesium hardness, suspended solids, organic matter and microorganisms, heavy metals, detergents or arsenic, for obtaining a water quality that enables it to be reused in different industrial processes, generating savings in terms of water and chemicals. The system is characterized in that the water to be treated passes through an electrochemical cell with plates of aluminum, iron or some other metal, and, when an electric current is applied at an amperage that allows an optimal current density to yield the aluminum required to form a hydroxide of aluminum, iron or some other metal, which, when reacting with the contaminants present in the water to be treated, forms an iodine that is later separated out from the water, enabling the treated water to be reused by this system, by integrating the processes of filtration and ozonation it enables better water quality to be obtained for reuse in cooling towers, industrial processes, general services, irrigation of green areas or any other use. The technological innovation in the present invention is that it totally eliminates the silica present in industrial waters, allowing reuse of this water in different processes owing to the quality obtained. In addition to reducing the calcium and magnesium hardness salt concentration, preventing the formation of encrustations and, in cooling -tower systems, making it possible to increase concentration cycles, thereby generating savings of water and chemicals, it reduces microbiological proliferation, which will enable industry in general to replace conventional industrial water-treatment programs with this new technological alternative. The advantages and benefits of the present invention are that it allows reuse and recycling of 100% of the water that has to be discarded in cooling towers, reverse osmosis rejection, regeneration of anionic units of demineralization systems and wastewater from industry, generating financial savings by allowing reuse of the water that is currently necessary to discard, thereby reducing the quantity of required chemicals essential for cooling towers and wastewater, reducing the impact on the environment caused by water being discarded with contaminants and chemicals content that makes it impossible for it to be reused. Furthermore, it allows the elimination of the contaminants present in the water from wells that contain contaminants such as arsenic, cyanide, iron, manganese and microorganisms, enabling the water to be used for drinking.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Ozon-Generator (1) zur Erzeugung von Ozon (O) durch Ozonierung eines Fluids (L) mittels einer ersten UV-Strahlung für die chemische Desinfektion von Wasser, aufweisend einen Behälter (2) zum Hindurchleiten des Fluids (L), wenigstens eine erste UV-Strahlungsquelle (3) zum Erzeugen wenigstens einer ersten UV-Strahlung für die Ozonierung des Fluids (L) in dem Behälter (2) und ein Eintragsmittel (5) zum Eintrag des in dem Behälter (2) ozonierten Fluids (L+O) in das aufzubereitende Wasser (W) für die chemische Desinfektion, wobei die Innenwand des Behälters (2) als Reflektor (4) zum Reflektieren der erzeugten UV-Strahlung ausgebildet ist und wobei die oder jede erste UV-Strahlungsquelle (3) im Bereich einer ersten Symmetrieachse des Behälters (2) vorgesehen ist und die Innenwand des ersten Behälters (2) mit einer gewellten Oberfläche zur Erhöhung der Intensität der reflektierten UV-Strahlung in dem Bereich zwischen der ersten Symmetrieachse und der Innenwand des ersten Behälters (2) ausgebildet ist. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Nachrüsten einer Anlage zur physikalischen Desinfektion von Wasser, insbesondere einer UV-Anlage, mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Ozon-Generator zur zusätzlichen chemischen Desinfektion des Wassers. Die Erfindung ermöglicht eine Wirkungsgradverbesserung bei der Ozonerzeugung und bei der chemischen Desinfektion sowie deren Steuerung im Rahmen der Wasseraufbereitung ohne höheren Energieaufwand sowie insgesamt eine verbesserte Umweltverträglichkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit der chemischen Aufbereitung von Wasser mittels UV-Strahlung ohne Qualitätsverminderung des aufbereiteten Wassers.

The instant invention allows a user to transform water into a liquid with more robust cleaning properties conveniently and in a short time. The present invention includes a cleaning apparatus having a reservoir (64) containing water, the reservoir able to be easily manipulated by a user to dispense the water, and a circulation flow path communicating with the reservoir and the device to allow at least some of the water in the reservoir to flow from the reservoir to the device and back to the reservoir.

The present invention provides an ozonated water generator which can generate highly soluble and highly concentrated ozonated water in an efficient and simple manner. In an ozonated water generator (201) comprising a supply tube (273) for transmitting a treated liquid, a gas/liquid mixing device (205) provided in the path of the supply tube, and an ozone supply structure (203) for supplying ozone to the gas/liquid mixing device. The gas/liquid mixing device is provided with a magnet (243) for creating magnetic force in the interior. Creating magnetic force in both the treated liquid and the ozone makes it possible to generate highly soluble and highly concentrated ozonated water in an efficient and simple manner.

An ozone generating system includes a water reservoir for accepting water from a water source, such as an inverted water bottle or a point of use water source. Once delivered to the reservoir, water therein may be dispensed for human consumption. An ozone generator produces ozone and such ozone is delivered tot water within the reservoir through an ozone diffuser connected to the ozone generator and positioned within the water reservoir at a central bottom location. The water reservoir includes a cover which is sealed closed to prevent release of generated ozone into the atmosphere. Filter means, such as an active carbon filter is provided which captures and neutralizes excess ozone within the reservoir. Preferably the ozone generator is mounted inside of the dispenser, either above water reservoir or below water tank, inside of cooler cabinet.

There is provided a water purifier for purifying a body of water by efficiently inactivating blue green algae contained in the water by exposing the blue green algae cells to ultrasonic waves. The purifier comprises a processing duct (2) submersible in the body of water and having a first open end (2a) and a second open end (2b), wherein a cross-sectional area of the processing duct (2) gradually increases from the second open end (2b) towards the first open end (2a). An ultrasonic wave transmitter (3) is arranged in the processing duct (2) for transmitting ultrasonic waves through water flowing through the processing duct (2) when submersed in water.
