PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which keeps a vehicle door opened at an arbitrary angle.SOLUTION: A vehicle door opening regulation device is provided with a ratchet 14 engaged to prevent rotation toward an opening direction with respect to a gear 12 that rotates while following an opening/closing operation of the door, and movable in a direction apart from the gear 12 so as not to prevent the rotation of the gear 12 toward a closing direction, a spring 15 capable of urging the ratchet 14 in directions of engagement and disengagement, and converting the urging direction that acts on the ratchet 14 from the engagement direction to the disengagement direction by moving the ratchet 14 from an engagement position to a disengagement position accompanied with the rotation of the gear 12 toward the closing direction, and an electric actuator 21 capable of operating the ratchet 14 from the disengagement position to the engagement position against the urging force of the spring 15 based on an operation of an operation switch.

A furniture drive is provided for driving a movable piece of furniture. The drive includes an electric motor, an actuator that can be moved back and forth between two end positions to apply a force on the piece of furniture to be driven, and a gearbox connected between the electric motor and actuator. The gearbox has at least one gear stage configured as an eccentric gearbox and includes two gear wheels that mesh with each other. One of the two gear wheels is firmly connected or coupled to the actuator, and the other gear wheel is coupled to the electric motor such that the eccentric gearbox has two limit positions which correspond to the end positions of the actuator. Upon a rotation of the gear wheels, starting from the limit positions, the gear ratio decreases over a deformed rotational angle range.
