Abstract: An aseptic coupling arrangement including a first coupling device and a second aseptic coupling device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the first and second coupling devices are substantially similar, each having a main body defining a front face and a fluid passageway therethrough. A first connecting feature disposed on the main body of each coupling device may be provided for aligning and coupling the aseptic devices together. Each coupling device may also include a sealing member received in the main body and a membrane removably coupled to the main body front face to cover the sealing member. The first aseptic coupling device may also include a rotatable protective cover that is removably attached to the main body and connected to the membrane. In one embodiment, the removal of the protective covers away from two coupled main bodies, in a direction parallel to the front faces, causes removal of the membranes.

Abstract: A wear-heat-resistant anti-bacterial anti-fouling steel wire framed pipe and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The steel wire framed pipe includes: an anti-bacterial anti-fouling inner layer, an enhancement layer and a wear-heat-resistant outer layer from inside to outside in turn, wherein: the anti-bacterial anti-fouling inner layer is made from antifouling and antibacterial composite modified polyethylene; the wear-heat-resistant outer layer is made from wear-resistant cross-linked modified PE-RT; the enhancement layer includes an interlayer and two steel wire gauze layers respectively coating on an inner surface and an outer surface of the interlayer, and the interlayer is respectively bonded with the anti-bacterial anti-fouling inner layer and the wear-heat-resistant outer layer via hot-melt adhesive. The steel wire framed pipe provided by the present invention has high structural strength, wear-resistance, heat-resistance, and anti-bacterial and anti-fouling properties.

Abstract: A sanitary clamp with facing ring halves employs one or more threaded closure devices configured to avoid having any threads exposed to the ambient. A bolt member may have a stepped shaft with a first smooth shaft portion and a male-threaded tip portion. The latter may be the same or a smaller diameter. An associated nut member has a blind bore that extends from a first end of the nut, with a first smooth wall portion and a second female threaded bore portion. The second female threaded portion may have the same bore diameter, or the bore can have a stepped interior diameter with the second female threaded bore portion having a diameter smaller than the first smooth wall portion. A seal member or gland within the smooth wall bore portion closes off a space defined between said the tip portion of the bolt member and the female-threaded bore portion. Once installed, there are no threaded surfaces of the bolt member or the nut member that are exposed to the ambient.
