Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes: an image reading device for reading images on a document; an image recording device for recording images read by the image reading device on a recording material; an inputting device that makes it possible for an operator to select either area from plural imaginary areas established in advance and to adjust a position in the selected area, for setting, on a given position on the recording material, a recording position for additional information to be recorded on the recording material by the image recording device in addition to the images stated above; and a controller that controls the image recording device for recording the additional information on the recording position that is set by the inputting device.
Abstract:
In an image processing apparatus capable of easily preparing a document having plural kinds of images and printing sheets, a plurality of management jobs containing linkage data, such as the order of linking image jobs are stored and registered in storing means 32. In linking the image jobs, one of the registered management jobs is selected. Then, a controller 34 causes the execution of linking the plurality of image jobs on the basis of the linkage data of the selected management job. Accordingly, the information of the plurality of image jobs can be treated independently of the information of the data for linking the plurality of image jobs. This permits easy preparation of a linked document having a plurality of images.
Abstract:
In order to make it possible to simply order extra prints, an image viewing/ordering ID and an image viewing/ordering password and an order determining ID and an order determining password are issued (created) when input of image data is accepted. Each of members belonging to a group transmits to a server 6 the image viewing/ordering ID and password to a server 6 using a portable telephone set 20A. Image data related to the image viewing/ordering ID is transmitted to the portable telephone set 20A from the server 6. While seeing images displayed on a display screen of the portable telephone set 20A, each of the members belonging to the group selects the image whose extra prints are ordered, and transmits the number of ordered prints of the image to the server 6. When the order determining ID and password are transmitted to the server 6 using the portable telephone set 20A, the order given by the member is made definite, thereby making a desired number of extra prints of the image desired by the members.
Abstract:
A photo printing system for transmitting image information including photo frame image data to a plurality of printers (P) through signal paths to print images, with a memory (41) for loading image information transmitted from an image input device (7), and a print order managing unit (50) for managing said image information on an order-by-order basis. The print order managing unit (50) includes a distributing unit (53) for applying printer IDs identifying the printers used, as attribute data, to the image information in the respective orders, a printer control unit (51) for checking an operating status of each of said printers, and a data output unit (54) for transmitting, based on a signal from said printer control unit, photo frame image data in an image file to be printed from said memory to one of said printers specified by the attribute data of said image file.
Abstract:
An image communication apparatus such as a facsimile apparatus comprises a reading circuit to read images of both of the front and back sides of an original to be transmitted, a discriminating circuit to discriminate the presence or absence of the image of the side of the original which was read by the reading circuit, and a transmitting circuit for transmitting the image of the side excluding the side of the original without the image on the basis of the result of the judgment of the discriminating circuit.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus includes a stamp or the like along a conveying path to perform stamping on a recording sheet. By performing stamping using a recording material which is different from a recording material used in a recording unit, an output image from the communication apparatus is identified. When the image output from the communication apparatus is copied by a copier, the image output from the communication apparatus can be definitively discriminated from a copied image which is a recorded image obtained using a single recording material.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus which records a stamp image to identify a recording sheet onto the recording sheet on which an image is recorded. The apparatus includes an input unit to input image data, a memory unit to store stamp image data, a recording unit to record the image data from the input unit and the stamp image data from the memory unit onto a recording sheet, and a number of copies setting circuit to set the number of copies which are recorded by the recording unit. When specific image data is received from a specific partner apparatus, the recording unit performs the recording of one copy irrespective of the set number of copies. The recording unit can be applied to a facsimile apparatus, a printer, a copying apparatus, or the like. The recording unit selects the different stamp image data from the memory every recording of each copy and records the selected stamp image data onto the recording sheet.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus has an operating panel to input various image-forming conditions, an image processing member for processing an input image signal, an outputting member for outputting an image, and a controller. The controller controls the operating panel, the image processing member and the outputting member so as to print the image forming conditions themselves as part of an image on a piece of paper.
Abstract:
A facsimile device, which receives picture data of an original document, which is constituted by a plurality of data lines, through a telephone line and records the received picture data onto a record sheet, has a counting device for counting the number of the received data lines, an operation device for comparing the number of the data lines with a predetermined value and evaluating the number of data lines exceeding the predetermined value as an excess number, a determination device for determining whether each of the received data lines is valid or invalid picture data, a data processing device for removing the data lines that are invalid picture data, the number of which corresponds to the excess number, out of the received data lines in accordance with the determination by the determination device, and a recording device for recording the remaining received data lines processed by the data processing device onto the record sheet. A processing method is also disclosed and claimed.
Abstract:
A data communication apparatus comprises: data communicator for performing data communication; an input device for inputting called party name data representing a called party name for the purpose of designating a called party who is to receive the data to be communicated; a controller for controlling the data communicator so that the data communicator communicates the called party name data which is input through the input device; and a designator for giving the control means an instruction representing the designation of the called party name data to be communicated so that the controller allows the data communicator to communicate the called party name data in accordance with the designation from the designator. Since called party data is sent out as an image with the called party being designated at a transmitting station in a first priority order and the called party name being registered in a second priority order, it is possible to perform positive communication when the called station.
