    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic filter to which a metal guide can and a conductive guideline of a fixed width coated with a conductive material are linked to have excellent frequency characteristics.
    SOLUTION: A dielectric ceramic filter with a dielectric block mounted on a microstrip line substrate is characterized by coupling a metal guide can to both side terminals of the dielectric block. Furthermore, the dielectric ceramic filter is characterized by including the dielectric block wherein a plurality of vertical grooves are formed on both side faces along with a lengthwise direction of a main body and remaining faces excepting for surfaces of both the side terminals are coated with the conductive material, the metal guide can surrounding both the side terminals of the dielectric block, and a conductive guideline formed on the surfaces of both the side terminals of the dielectric block which are not coated with the conductive material.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coplanar filter and method of forming the same in which an increase of a power loss is avoided by reducing a maximum current density in a resonator in a structure where the accuracy of design is easily maintained, and the destruction of a superconductive state can be prevented even if a conductor is comprised of a superconductive material.
    SOLUTION: In a coplanar filter comprising coplanar resonators comprised of dielectric substrates, center conductors and ground conductors formed on the dielectric substrate and coplanar input/output terminal sections coupled with the resonator via a coupling part, one of a ground conductor spacing and a center conductor line width in the coplanar resonator is made to be greater than a corresponding ground conductor spacing or center conductor line width in each of the input/output terminal sections.
