Abstract: The present invention relates to an ear tag having a vent. The ear tag comprises: a hard plastic piercing pin that pierce the ear of an animal; a soft plastic insertion part that penetrates through the ear of the animal; and a clamp part in which the top end of the insertion part penetrating through the ear of the animal is inserted. The clamp part is integrally molded to comprise: a vent enabling ventilation therein; and a locking projection enabling the top end of the insertion part to be hung thereon and fixed thereto. The piercing pin comprises: a cone shape peak composing the top end thereof; and a rod shaped pin formed at the rear of the peak, wherein multiple concavo-convex structures are formed on the outer circumference of the pin. The pin of the piercing pin is coupled in the insertion so that the peak of the piercing pin is exposed to the top end of the insertion part. The insertion part comprises: an insertion body that has a container structure having the rear opened and includes multiple discharge holes formed on the outer circumference thereof in order to penetrate through the inside thereof; and a tap that closes the open rear end of the insertion body. When the piercing pin and insertion part pierce the ear of the animal and are fixed by means of the clamp part so as to enable a medicine to be injected in the insertion body and then to be closed by means of the tap, the medicine flows out through the discharge holes to be applied to the wound on the pierced ear of the animal, so that the blood from the ear of the animal can be prevented from pooling in the clamp part and the pierced part can be ventilated. Also, the diseases caused by the oxidation of metals can be prevented, and the integral clamp part reduces production costs.
