    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a club head having an improved discretionary weight arrangement that optimizes a center of gravity and a value of an inertia moment by adopting multi-material configuration and yet achieving further flexibility of manufacture.SOLUTION: The iron type golf club comprises: a body including a body member 12 and a sole member 14 in which an interface is formed along at least a part of the periphery of the sole member 14 and a lower-side surface of the sole member 14 forms at least a part of the sole surface; at least one body weight member 16 that is connected to the body member 12 to form at least a part of the sole surface; and a hosel weight member 18 connected to a base end of a hosel of the body member 12. The body member 12 has a first material, the body weight member 16 has a material with specific gravity larger than the specific gravity of the first material, and the hosel weight member 18 has a material with specific gravity larger than the specific gravity of the first material.

The hosel alignment features are disposed in a proximal portion 676 of the hosel tube. A shaft sleeve is coupled to a distal end portion 678 of the shaft and includes a plurality of sleeve alignment features. A fastener releasably couples the shaft sleeve to the club head at least partially within the hosel bore.
