Abstract: The apparatus converts the 2B+D+C channel inforamtion with transmission speed of 160kbps into the data stream with transmission speed of 2.048Mpbs, divides the 2B+D+C channel information into each channel information and transmittes to a common channel unit and a CPU. The apparatus includes an Utranceiver (6) for converting the line data into the system data and for generating a synchronous clock pulse (C4) and a frame pulse (F0), a channel divideer (7) for dividing the 2B+D+C channel data into 2B, D and C channel data and for transmitting the divided data to the U-tranceiver by adding the DSTi bus data, a D- channel controler (8) for communicating the D-channel data with the CPU a c- channel extraqcting unit (10) for extracting control bit from the c-channel data.

Abstract: A time switching circuit is for performing the channel reconfiguration function in the connecting apparatus required for communicating the data between two different equipments. The circuit comprises an interface means (4) connecting with a microprocessor of a connecting apparatus, two time switch modules (1,2), controlled by the interface means, for reconfigurating the PCM channel, and a ST bus selecting circuit (3) for producing the PCM channel data controlled by the time switch module. The circuit improves the system reliability by detecting the error of the time switch.
