Abstract:
The invention relates to an oil type lubricant, which is applied to a die to be used in high-pressure die casting, gravity die casting, low-pressure die casting and forging and can prevent soldering, particularly at high temperature parts and under a heavy load, to a spray method of applying the oil type lubricant and a spray apparatus for applying the oil type lubricant. The powder-containing oil type lubricant for die contains 60 to 99% by mass of an oil type lubricant consisting of oil, 0.3 to 30% by mass of a solubilizing agent, 0.3 to 15% by mass of an inorganic powder and 7.5% by mass or less of water, the lubricant being electrostatically applied to a die. The electrostatic spray method includes applying the powder-containing oil type lubricant to a die by electrostatic spraying. The electrostatic spray apparatus includes a static electricity imparting device that imparts static electricity to the powder-containing oil type lubricant and an electrostatic spray gun installed on a multi-axle robot.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in a metal working fluid comprising adding to the metal working fluid a benzisothiazolin-3-one of the Formula (1): wherein R is C4-5-alkyl; R is hydroxy, halogen (especially chlorine), C1-4-alkyl or C1-4-alkoxy; and n is from 0 to 4.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a parting agent for low-speed casting which does not pollute the working environment, has an excellent run property and lubricity, and has excellent washability of dies. CONSTITUTION: The parting agent for low-speed injection die casting consists essentially of an inorganic lubricant, spherical resin particles having an average particle size of 0.1 to 10 μm, organic carboxylic acid metal salt and water. The inorganic lubricant is 100 pts.wt., the spherical resin particles having the average particle size of 0.1 to 10 μm are 5 to 100 pts.wt., the organic carboxylic acid metal salt is 5 to 100 pts.wt. and the water is 100 to 1,000 pts.wt.
Abstract:
The invention relates to mixtures of nitrogen-containing surface-active agents which are obtained by esterification of oxyalkylates based on modified or nonmodified naturally occurring resin acids or resin amines or resin alcohols derived therefrom with dicarboxylic acids or anhydrides thereof and subsequent reaction with alkylenediamines or alkylenepolyamines. These nitrogen-containing surface-active agents are suitable as coupling auxiliaries, emulsifiers, dispersing agents, preparation agents for solids dispersions, corrosion protection and metal-working agents and as wetting agents and dyeing auxiliaries.
Abstract:
A water-glycol hydraulic fluid comprising a higher aliphatic acid in a ratio of 2 to 15% by weight, alkali hydroxide in an amount less than an equivalent amount of the higher aliphatic acid, and an organic alkaline compound containing nitrogen atoms in an amount sufficient to adjust the pH of the whole fluid to 10 to 12 is desclosed. This hydraulic fluid has excellent wear resistance and also excellent sludge solubility.
